Sebastiano Del Piombo
Sebastiano del Piombo (; c. 1485 – 21 June 1547) was an Italian painter of the High Renaissance and early Mannerism, Mannerist periods famous as the only major artist of the period to combine the colouring of the Venetian School (art), Venetian school in which he was trained with the monumental forms of the Roman school. He belongs both to the painting school of his native city, Venice, where he made significant contributions before he left for Rome in 1511, and that of Rome, where he stayed for the rest of his life, and whose style he thoroughly adopted. Born Sebastiano Luciani, after coming to Rome he became known as ''Sebastiano Veneziano'' or ''Viniziano'' ("Sebastian the Venetian"), until in 1531 he became the Keeper of the Seals#Papacy, Keeper of the Seal to the Papacy, and so got the nickname ''del Piombo'' ("of the Lead") thereafter, from his new job title of ''piombatore''. Richiardi Sebastiano
Sebastiano Richiardi (26 February 1834, Lanzo – August 1904, Marina di Pisa) was an Italian anatomist and zoologist. Sebastiano Ziani
Sebastiano Ziani was Doge of Venice from 1172 to 1178. He was one of the greatest planners of Venice. During his short term as Doge, Ziani divided the city-state into many districts. He realised that the government headquarters were too close to the shipyard. As such, they were affected by the noise from the shipyard. Ziani resolved this problem by donating a piece of land to the city-state and relocating the shipyard in it. One of the most notable changes he made to the city was in funding the construction of the Piazza San Marco. Projects included filling up Rio Batario that ran parallel to the Basilica San Marco which could be found at what is today the half way point of the Piazza. He paved the main square as well as the Piazzetta that it is connected to. Sebastiano Ximenes (c. late 16th century) was an Italian banker of Portuguese origin in Florence, and noted patron of the Arts. He bought and later renamed the Florentine palace, Palazzo Ximenes de Sangallo -- still a tourist attraction today. Sebastiano Visconti Prasca (23 January 1883, Rome – 25 February 1961) was an Italian general. He led the initial offensive of the Greco-Italian War, but was relieved of his command after two weeks for incompetence and substituted with General Ubaldo Soddu. Biography Sebastiano Visconti Prasca was a member of the noble family of the House of Visconti. He took part in World War I, receiving two commemorative medals and a Merit Cross. Starting from 1924, he served as military attache at Belgrade in Yugoslavia. In 1934 he commanded the Italian corps in Saar. Sebastiano Venier (or Veniero) (c. 1496 – 3 March 1578) was Doge of Venice from 11 June 1577 to 3 March 1578. He is best remembered in his role as the Venetian admiral at the Battle of Lepanto. Sebastiano Serlio (6 September 1475 – c. 1554) was an Italian Mannerist architect, who was part of the Italian team building the Palace of Fontainebleau.
