Sebastian Ugarte
Sebastian Ugarte was a Filipino international footballer and sports executive. Career Youth career From 1924-1925, Ugarte was part of the La Salle football and track and field teams. International career Ugarte was part of the Philippine national team that participated at the Far Eastern Championship Games. He became a household name among other players for his stints. Non-playing career Ugarte joined the San Miguel Corporation and was deeply involved in the now-defunct Philippine Football Association league. He led the team of San Miguel, and was also the Executive Vice-President at A. Soriano & Co. In the early 1960s, Ugarte through the Soriano group, hired British coaches Alan Rogers, Brian Birch, Danny McClelan and Graham Adams to train coaches, players and referees as well as the national youth and senior teams. De La Salle Green Archers
The De La Salle Green Archers (also known simply as the Green Archers) are the men's varsity teams representing De La Salle University in the Philippines. The women's varsity teams are generally referred to as the De La Salle Lady Archers. The school's varsity teams participate in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, among others. La Salle is represented in the high school level by De La Salle Zobel, and are known as the Zobel Junior Archers. Joaquín Miguel Elizalde y Díaz (August 2, 1896 – February 9, 1965) was a Filipino diplomat and businessman. Personal life Elizalde was born on August 2, 1896 in Manila, the eldest child of José Joaquín Elizalde (who was the Philippine-born son of Joaquín Marcelino Elizalde y Yrisarry, an immigrant from Elizondo in Navarre, Spain) and Carmen Díaz y Moreau (who was from Spain). His siblings were Juan Miguel, Ángel, Manuel ("Manolo"), Federico ("Fred") and Carmenchu. He was educated at St. Joseph's College, London, and Dr. Schmidt's Institute in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Elizalde was married to Elena von Kauffmann in 1924 and had two daughters, Cecilia and Elenita. The couple divorced in 1957. The United Football League, commonly known as the UFL, was an association football league, replaced by the Philippines Football League, based in the National Capital Region of the Philippines, governed by the Football Alliance (FA) in partnership with United Football Clubs Association (UFCA). The UFL was the Philippines' primary football league. In its last season in 2016, it was contested by 12 clubs and operated without a system of promotion and relegation with UFL Division 2, which was discontinued. Games were often scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Ayala Triangle Gardens is a landscaped urban park in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a triangular public garden and courtyard in the center of the Makati Central Business District. It was named after its owner and developer Ayala Land, and opened to the public in November 19, 2009. Inspired by Hyde Park, London, Hyde Park in London, the park, which is dotted with palms, acacia trees, and tropical foliage, is considered one of the few "green" areas in Makati.
