Sebastian Tretola
Sebastian Giovanni Andre Tretola (born May 1, 1992) is a former American football guard. He played college football at Arkansas, Iowa Western, and Nevada. Professional career Tennessee Titans Tretola was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round, 193rd overall, in the 2016 NFL Draft. Tretola was waived by the Titans on July 28, 2017, days after being shot in the leg. Houston Roughnecks On November 22, 2019, Tretola was drafted by the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL in the 2020 XFL Supplemental Draft. He had his contract terminated when the league suspended operations on April 10, 2020. In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming defensive line, linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through. 2020 XFL Supplemental Draft
The 2020 XFL Draft was the inaugural player selection process to fill the rosters of the eight teams of the 2020 reboot of the XFL. The draft was held on October 15–16, 2019, via conference call, with results released through the XFL's social media channels. Structure The XFL player allocation process was held in multiple phases, separated by position groups.
