Sebastian Lang
Sebastian Lang (born 15 September 1979 in Sonneberg) is a former German professional road bicycle racer and time trialist, who rode as a professional between 2002 and 2011. He rode on from 2002 until its demise in 2008, and in 2006 became Germany's national time trial champion. In the 2008 Tour de France, on stage 9, Lang broke from the peloton 22 kilometers into the stage. He shook off his two breakaway companions on the category 1 col de Peyresourde, with another big difficulty to come, the col d'Aspin. He was passed on the latter by Riccardo Ricco, who would win the stage only be excluded from the Tour later on for a positive test to the blood booster CERA. With his long break, Lang earned the ''most combative'' award for the stage, and raked in points for the ''best climber'' jersey, which he would wear from stages 12 to 14. Sonneberg
Sonneberg in Thuringia, Germany, is the seat of the Sonneberg district. It is in the Franconian south of Thuringia, neighboring its Upper Franconian twin town Neustadt bei Coburg. Danmark Rundt
Danmark Rundt is a Danish stage race for professional road bicycle racers organized as a part of the UCI Continental Circuits. It is currently sponsored by the Danish national postal agency, PostNord, and the race is therefore also known as PostNord Danmark Rundt. The 2019 edition had 20 teams, with 6 riders each, participating in 5 stages. The race is sometimes called the Tour of Denmark in English language media. Markus Fothen (born 9 September 1981 in Kaarst) is a retired German road racing cyclist, who rode as a professional between 2004 and 2013. In 2003 Fothen won the under-23 World Championship time trial in Hamilton, Canada. He completed the 30.8 km course in 38:35.29, beating his nearest rival by nearly 20 seconds. During 2006 Tour de France, Fothen held the white jersey as leader of the young rider classification for 13 stages, losing it to Damiano Cunego on the 17th stage.
