SearchOhio
SearchOhio is a consortium of public libraries in the state of Ohio that provides borrowing access to more than 10 million library items, including books, movies and music, providing easy access to information and rapid delivery of library materials throughout the state. It was established in 2006. Cardholders at any participating library can request items online through the SearchOhio catalog (powered by INN-Reach, a product of Innovative Interfaces) to be delivered to their library in 3–5 business days. Items are shipped back to the owning library on return. Westerville Public Library
The Westerville Public Library is a public library that serves the community of Westerville, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) has 27 branches that serve 47 communities in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. It was ranked the number one public library in the United States among libraries serving populations of more than 500,000 by the Hennen's American Public Library Ratings 2010. In 2009, more than 19 million items were borrowed by its 528,449 cardholders, and 7.6 million visits were made to branches. In May 2006, the Library launched a new website, which Ektron gave its MVP award as the 2006 Best Overall Site in August. The Wadsworth Ella M. Everhard Public Library, in Wadsworth, Ohio, is an independent library serving the city of Wadsworth, Wadsworth Township and parts of Guilford Township in Medina County, Ohio. History The first circulating library in Wadsworth was established by Judge Frederick Brown in 1822, who brought a collection of books with him when he relocated to Ohio from Connecticut. One hundred years later, the Wadsworth Federation of Women's Clubs donated $50 for the establishment of a permanent library. Two hundred books borrowed from the State Library of Ohio were housed in one of the schools. Toledo Lucas County Public Library is a public library system located in Toledo, Ohio. History Founded in December 1838, it was Ohio's first public library created with tax money. There were sixty-six charter members in the association's subscription library. Members paid an annual fee of two dollars.
