Sean Reid-Foley
Sean Ian Reid-Foley (born August 30, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization. He was selected in the second round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft by the Toronto Blue Jays and made his debut with them in 2018. He has also played in MLB for the New York Mets. Early life Reid-Foley was born in Guam while his father, Dave, was assigned there while serving in the United States Coast Guard. Reid-Foley attended Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida. As a junior in 2013, he threw a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts in a game against Flagler Palm Coast High School. The Dayton Dragons are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. They are located in Dayton, Ohio, and play their home games at Day Air Ballpark, formerly known as Fifth Third Field. The Lansing Lugnuts are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. They are located in Lansing, Michigan, and play their home games at Jackson Field (Lansing), Jackson Field. The Northwest League is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the Pacific Northwest, Northwestern United States and Western Canada. A Class A Short Season league for most of its history, the league was promoted to High-A as part of Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues. Class A Short Season (officially Short-Season A) was a level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States from 1965 through 2020. In the hierarchy of minor league classifications, it was below Triple-A, Double-A, Class A-Advanced (created in 1990), and Class A. The Florida Complex League Blue Jays are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball.
