Sean McMahon
Sean McMahon (born 18 June 1994) is an Australian rugby union player for Suntory Sungoliath in the Japanese Top League. His regular playing position is Flanker. Career McMahon was born and raised in Brisbane and took his first steps in senior rugby with GPS in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition. He played in the side which was runner-up in the 2013 competition and featured alongside future Rebels team-mates Colby Faingaa and Bryce Hegarty. McMahon's displays saw him named as a member of the Melbourne Rebels extended playing squad for the 2014 Super Rugby season. He was surprisingly named in the number 6 jersey for the Rebels season opener against the at AAMI Park on 28 February 2014. McMahon played the whole 80 minutes in a 35–14 victory for the home side. The Bledisloe Cup is an annual rugby union competition originally staged between the national teams of Australia's Wallabies and New Zealand's All Blacks that has been contested since the 1930s. Bryce Hegarty
Bryce Hegarty (born 28 August 1992) is an Australian rugby union player who plays either as a fly-half or fullback. He currently plays for Western Force in Super Rugby. He previously played for the Queensland Reds, the Melbourne Rebels and the New South Wales Waratahs in Super Rugby, Toyota Industries Shuttles in Japan, and Leicester Tigers in England's Premiership Rugby. Hegarty is the son of former Manly Sea Eagles player Steve Hegarty. Professional career Hegarty played for the Brisbane Broncos Under-20 side before moving south to Melbourne ahead of the 2013 Super Rugby season. 2016 Super Rugby Season
The 2016 Super Rugby season was the 21st season of Super Rugby and the first season featuring an expanded 18-team format. It was also the first season that teams outside Australia, New Zealand and South Africa featured, with the Jaguares from Argentina and the Sunwolves from Japan taking part. Michael Cheika
Michael Cheika (born 4 March 1967) is an Australian rugby union and rugby league coach, and former rugby union player. He is currently head coach of Argentina in rugby union and Lebanon in rugby league. Cheika was the coach of the Australia rugby union team from 2014 to 2019. In 2015, he received the World Rugby Coach of the Year award. He is the only coach to have won the major rugby club competition in each hemisphere, winning the Heineken Cup with Leinster in 2009 and Super Rugby with the New South Wales Waratahs in 2014. 2014 IRB Junior World Championship
The 2014 IRB Junior World Championship was the seventh annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. The event was organised in Auckland, New Zealand by rugby's governing body, World Rugby, then known as the International Rugby Board. A total of 12 nations took part in the tournament. England went into the tournament as defending champions, after winning the tournament for the first time in 2013. England went on to win the Championship for a second time in two years. The 2012 IRB Junior World Championship was the fifth annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. This competition replaced the now defunct Under 19 and Under 21 world championships. The event was organised in South Africa between 4 and 22 June 2012 by rugby's governing body, the IRB. A total of 12 nations played in the tournament. New Zealand came into the tournament as defending champions. South Africa were crowned 2012 champions after defeating New Zealand 22 - 16 in the final on the 22 June at Newlands Stadium.
