Sean Maguire (other)
Sean Maguire (born 18 April 1976) is an English-American actor and singer who has been professionally making films, television shows and performing on stage for over 40 years. Originally from London, Maguire started his career at age five starring alongside Lord Olivier in '' A Voyage Round My Father''. He then rose to fame at age ten when he was cast in the BBC drama '' Grange Hill'' in the role of "Tegs" Ratcliffe in which he remained until 1991. After leaving ''Grange Hill'', Maguire played Aidan Brosnan in ''EastEnders''. Maguire has appeared in several feature films and had success as a singer. He is known in the United States for his roles as Donovan Brink on the UPN sitcom '' Eve'', and as Kyle Lendo in the CBS sitcom '' The Class''. Phoenix Fan Fusion (formerly Phoenix Comicon and Phoenix Comic Fest) is a speculative fiction entertainment and comic book convention held annually in Phoenix, Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona. It was founded as the Phoenix Cactus Comicon in June 2002, and originally consisted of a one-day six-hour event held in Ahwatukee, Arizona, Ahwatukee, Arizona. The convention plays host to comic related panels, programming events, art contests, and autograph signings for all ages. "The Gift of Christmas" is a 1995 charity single by supergroup Childliners, with the proceeds of the single going to Childline. The song was written by Tony Mortimer of East 17. In a similar ilk to " Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid, the song features popular chart acts such as MN8, Boyzone, East 17, Backstreet Boys, Dannii Minogue, Peter Andre and more. It peaked at number 9 on the UK Singles Chart, number 10 in Ireland and number 7 in Scotland. ''Sunburn'' is a British television series that followed the lives of a group of British holiday reps. It was broadcast on BBC One between 16 January 1999 and 1 May 2000, running for two series of six and eight episodes respectively. The first was set and filmed in Cyprus and the second in Algarve. The cast included Michelle Collins, Rebecca Callard, Sharon Small, George Layton and Sean Maguire, with Paul Nicholas joining later. The series was created by Mike Bullen, who was interested in the behind-the-scenes lives of holiday reps after watching the docusoap ''Holiday Reps''.
