Sean Foudy
Sean Foudy (born October 25, 1966) is a former Canadian football defensive back who played six seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Ottawa Rough Riders and BC Lions. He was drafted by the Rough Riders in the third round of the 1989 CFL Draft. He played CIS football at York University. College career Foudy participated in football and track for the York Lions from 1986 to 1991. He helped the track team win silver and bronze team medals at the national championships and, individually, he won four CIAU and five OUAA medals in the 60m hurdles and relays. He also earned second-team all-star honors in football in 1988. Foudy was named York’s male athlete of the year in 1989 and was inducted into the York University Sport Hall of Fame in 2006. The 2018 NHL Entry Draft was the 56th NHL Entry Draft. The draft was held on June 22–23, 2018, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The 2018 NHL Entry Draft was the second of two professional sports drafts to be held in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex during the calendar year, as the Dallas Cowboys hosted the 2018 NFL Draft in April. The Columbus Blue Jackets (often simply referred to as the Jackets) are a professional ice hockey team based in Columbus, Ohio. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference, and began play as an expansion team in 2000. Liam Foudy (born February 4, 2000) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 18th overall by the Blue Jackets in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Junior hockey London Knights Foudy was selected 18th overall in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection by the London Knights. Foudy made his OHL debut on September 21, 2016, as he had no points in a 4–1 loss to the Sarnia Sting. France Gareau (born April 15, 1967) is a Canadian athlete, who competed in the sprint events. Gareau was born in Verner, Ontario. Gareau competed for Canada in the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, United States in the 100 metres and the 4 x 100 metres relay, where she anchored Canada to the silver medal (as a 17-year-old) with her teammates Angela Bailey, Marita Payne and Angella Taylor-Issajenko.
