Sean Downs
Sean Downs (born February 6 1967) is an American former professional darts player who played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Originally from Oregon, Downs first competed in the BDO World Darts Championship in 1993, where he lost 3-0 to Albert Anstey. After switching to the PDC, he was brought in to make up the numbers in the inaugural 1994 WDC World Darts Championship, and lost both his group matches to Eric Bristow and Rod Harrington. In the following three years, he would win one game and lose one game each year, never getting out of the group stages. He did make the 1996 World Matchplay quarter-finals after beating Keith Deller and Cliff Lazarenko, before losing to eventual champion Peter Evison. Downs quit the PDC in 2018. Keith Deller
Keith Kelvin Deller (born 24 December 1959) is an English former professional darts player best known for winning the 1983 BDO World Darts Championship and Unipart British Professional Championship in 1987. He was the first qualifier ever to win the championship and remains one of the youngest champions in history. For his world championship win, Deller used 18-gram spring-loaded darts, later banned for tournament play but now legal again. Career BDO Deller's victory over Eric Bristow in the 1983 BDO World Darts Championship by 6 sets to 5 was probably the biggest upset in the history of the championship. Harry Robinson (darts Player)
Harry Robinson (born 27 December 1969 from Eden, Cumbria) is a former English professional darts player. Who currently playing in the Professional Darts Corporation tournaments. He used to play rugby union, before switching to darts. Career From Eden, Cumbria, Robinson originally started his sporting career playing rugby union, before switching to darts in 1990, reaching the final of the BDO German Open that year. After switching to the PDC, he played in the 1997 World Matchplay, losing to Mick Manning in the first round. His big breakthrough came in the 1998 PDC World Darts Championship, when he won Group 8. Shayne Burgess (born 1 June 1964) is an English former professional darts player who competed in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. He is known for his unorthodox throwing action, where he draws the point of the dart up close to his eyeball before releasing. Career Early career Burgess reached the quarter finals of the British Open in 1992 and the quarter-finals of the Winmau World Masters in 1993. Kevin Spiolek (born 5 May 1962 in Cambridge) is a retired English professional darts player who played during the 1980s and 1990s. He made a brief return to form in 2006, when qualifying to play in the PDC World Darts Championship. Philip Douglas Taylor (born 13 August 1960) is an English former professional darts player, widely considered the greatest darts player of all time. Nicknamed The Power, he dominated darts for over two decades and won 214 professional tournaments, including a record 85 major titles and a record 16 World Championships. Peter Kenneth Evison (born 27 May 1964) is an English former professional darts player who competed in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and British Darts Organisation (BDO) events. Nicknamed The Fen Tiger, his greatest achievements were the win of the 1989 Winmau World Masters and the 1996 World Matchplay.
