Shawn Collins (born February 20, 1967) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the 1989 NFL Draft. He played college football at Northern Arizona. Collins also played for the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers and Frankfurt Galaxy. He played in the Canadian Football League in 1995 for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Memphis Mad Dogs The Memphis Mad Dogs were a Canadian football team that played the 1995 season in the Canadian Football League. Sean Collins (born February 9, 1983) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He was selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the 9th round (289th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Collins was the third last player (289th overall) selected in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. When drafted, Collins was playing with the New Hampshire Wildcats men's ice hockey team of NCAA's Division I Hockey East Association where he scored 77 goals and 96 assists in his four-year career with the UNH Wildcats. He began his professional career in 2005. In the 2005–06 ECHL season he scored 27 goals and added 49 assists to lead the Wheeling Nailers in points, and the following year he posted identical numbers. Collins played three seasons (2005–08) for the Nailers, recording 69 goals and 139 assists for a total of 208 points. Sean Patrick Collins (born October 30, 1983) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman who played in the National Hockey League with the Washington Capitals. Playing career As a youth, Collins played in the 1997 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Detroit Little Caesars minor ice hockey team. College Prior to going to Ohio State, he spent the 2002–03 season with the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League, posted six goals, 22 assists and 89 PIM. He became a member of the Cleveland Barons in 2001-02, where he contributed six goals and 22 assists. Barons' assistant captain named him the Sarnia Rookie of the Year in his first year of juniors. Sean Brendan Collins (born December 29, 1988) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He was drafted 187th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Collins played minor junior hockey with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League from 2006 to 2008 before he was picked by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the seventh round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed to an entry-level contract with the Blue Jackets organization following the end of his last season of ECAC Hockey with the Cornell Big Red. Seán Collins (10 July 1918 – 11 April 1975) was an Irish Fine Gael politician. A barrister, Collins was elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fine Gael Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cork West constituency at the 1948 general election, and retained his seat in each election until losing it at the 1957 general election. Collins was re-elected for the Cork South-West constituency at the 1961 general election and held his seat until again losing it at the 1969 general election, and did not stand for election again. Sean Robb Collins (April 8, 1952 – December 26, 2011) was the American founder of Surfline and a noted figure in the areas of surfing and surf forecasting. Cutting Jade is a five-piece rock group from Pretoria, South Africa, formed in 1998. History Their first demo single was released to South Africa's largest campus station TUKS FM (then still Radio TUKS) in late 1998 and reached number one on the station's South African Top 10. The same song also made it to number 10 on the station's Top 30, the first unsigned band ever to feature at all on that chart. Their second demo gained a similar response and the band became popular at live shows in Pretoria. ''So There We Were'', was Cutting Jade's first album, released in 2000. The band described this independent release "as an emotional rock album with relevant and accessible lyrics.
