2015–16 Saudi Second Division
The 2015–16 Saudi Second Division was the 20th season of the Saudi Second Division since its establishment in 1996. The season featured 13 teams from the 2014–15 campaign, three new teams relegated from the 2014–15 First Division League: Al-Safa, Abha and Hetten, and four new teams promoted from the 2014–15 Saudi Third Division: Al Jabalain as champion and group A winner, Al-Qaisumah as runner-up and group B winner, Al-Washm as group B runner-up and Al-Qala as group A runner-up. The league began on 8 October 2015 and ended on 27 February 2016. Al-Qaisumah won the league title after beating Al-Adalh 2–1 on aggregate in the final, both teams promoted to the 2016–17 Saudi First Division, also Wej promoted after defeating Al-Badaya 1–0 on aggregate in the third place play-off. Saudi First Division
The First Division League (FDL for short), also called the Yelo league for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of professional football in Saudi Arabia. The First Division League is ranked below the Saudi Professional League and above the Saudi Second Division in the Saudi Arabian football league system. All of the FDL clubs qualify for the King Cup, the annual Saudi Cup competition. Al-Hazem are the most recent champions, winning their second title during the 2020–21 season. The number of clubs in the league has changed throughout history, most recently in the 2018–19 season, when the number of clubs increased from 16 to 20. Since the 2019–20 season, three clubs from the First Division are directly promoted to the Pro League; on the other hand, four clubs are directly relegated to the Second Division. Khalid Sharahili (Arabic: خالد شراحيلي; born 3 February 1987) is a Saudi Arabian footballer who plays for Al-Shaeib as a goalkeeper. He also represented the Saudi Arabia national football team. Mohammed Manga (born Richard Manga, 30 March 1977) is a former Senegalese football (soccer), football player. Career The striker (football), striker was born in Dakar, and started his career with Jeunesse amicale de Fass, before he signed at the end of the year 1993 with AS Douanes (Dakar). He started his senior career with the Dakar-based club under his birth name ''Richard Manga'' in 1994. Only a year later he left his club Douanes and signed with Tunisian side AS Djerba. He received the award for the best Tunisian Golden Shoe, Goalscorer and moved in 1996 to League rival CS Hammam-Lif. He played the next two years with Hammam-Lif, before signing in 1998 in Saudi Arabia for Al-Ahli SC (Jeddah), Al-Ahli Jeddah.
