Scuderia Finotto
Scuderia Finotto was a motor racing team from Italy, founded by Jürg Dubler. It raced in Formula One in 1974, using customer Brabham cars. Formula One For the season, Martino Finotto bought two Brabham BT42s, and leased both cars to the Swiss Jürg Dubler, a retired racing driver. Jürg Dubler entered both cars for the 1974 Spanish Grand Prix sponsored by Silvio Moser's backer Bretscher, one for Silvio Moser and the other for the Swede Reine Wisell, but one week before that race Moser was seriously injured during a sportscar race at Monza and died four weeks later. The team had only one full-time mechanic, New Zealander John R.Anderson, and an engine builder, Englishman R.John Leslie, and used Lino Branca's workshop in Buscate and Novamotor's engine dyno. The team had no spare parts for the cars so often had to rob parts from one car to keep the other running. ''Scuderia'' is a streamliner dragster. In 1963, Jack Williams' Vancouver, British Columbia–based drag racing team (Williams-Devine-McDougall) rebuilt Williams' old slingshot rail with a new aluminum body (painted in blue metalflake), with a very long, pointed nose, faired-in engine, and blue-tinted Lexan canopy over the cockpit. The car's front wheels were spoked motorcycle wheels, the exhausts long "weed cutter"-style pipes (exiting horizontally, rather than vertically). The engine was a Chrysler hemi with a front-driven Potvin supercharger. Ron Lowe replaced Devine and McDougall. Ferrari F430
The Ferrari F430 (Type F131) is a sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari from 2004 until 2009 as a successor to the Ferrari 360. The car is an update to the 360 with exterior and performance changes. It was unveiled at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. The F430 was succeeded by the 458 which was unveiled on 28 July 2009. Overview Design Designed by Pininfarina in collaboration with Frank Stephenson (Director of Ferrari-Maserati Concept Design and Development), the body styling of the F430 was revised from its predecessor, the 360, to improve its aerodynamic efficiency. Scuderia Vittoria is a British motor racing team. The team was formed in late 2010 and is the brainchild of ex-BTCC racers Tom Ferrier and Danny Buxton along with multiple GT and single-seater championship team manager, Piers Masarati. Scuderia Toro Rosso (; literal translation of "Red Bull Racing Team"), commonly known as Toro Rosso or by its abbreviation STR, was an Italian Formula One racing team. It was one of two Formula One teams owned by Austrian beverage company Red Bull, the other being Red Bull Racing. Scuderia Serenissima
Scuderia Serenissima and Scuderia SSS Republica di Venezia were names used by Giovanni Volpi to enter his own cars in Formula One and sports car racing in the early 1960s. Scuderia Serenissima was an auto racing team in the early 1960s. Funded by Giovanni Volpi, Serenissima used Ferraris to much success until the founder financed the exiled Ferrari company, ATS. Thereafter, Enzo Ferrari would no longer sell his cars to Serenissima, so the company turned to De Tomaso, ATS, and Maserati. Volpi, and thus Serenissima, halted automobile operations in 1970. Scuderia Playteam (also known as Scuderia Playteam Sarafree) was an Italian racing team owned by Giambattista Giannoccaro. History The team competed in several series. These included the FIA GT Championship in 2007 when the team finished 2nd overall using a Maserati MC12. This entitled them to enter the 2008 24 Hours of Le Mans but the team did not do so. Scuderia Milano was an Italian Formula One motor racing team founded in Milan by Arialdo and Emilio Ruggeri, two brothers who had raced Maseratis in the early post-war period. The team scored two World Championship points on its debut, when Felice Bonetto finished fifth at the 1950 Swiss Grand Prix. The team mostly raced modified Maserati 4CLT single-seaters with a shorter wheelbase, De Dion suspensions, and larger brakes. They had engines redesigned by Mario Speluzzi, refitted with two-stage superchargers, and raced them in the and F1 seasons. One Scuderia Milano original chassis, the 4CLT, was entered in the 1950 Italian Grand Prix with Bonetto at the wheel.
