Scotty Walden
Scotty Walden (born November 15, 1989) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at Austin Peay State University. Walden had previously served as the head coach at East Texas Baptist University and interim head coach at the University of Southern Mississippi. Playing career Walden graduated from Cleburne High School in Cleburne, Texas. Following high school he attended three different colleges: Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa (2008–2009), Hardin–Simmons University in Abilene, Texas (2009–2011), and finally Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas (2011–2012). He played football at all three institutions, and started as quarterback in 2008 and 2011. East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) is a private Baptist university in Marshall, Texas. It is affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas (Southern Baptist Convention). History ETBU is located on the site of the former Van Zandt Farm at the highest altitude in Harrison County. ETBU was founded as the College of Marshall in 1912, after a campaign to create a Southern Baptist college in East Texas. The campus' first building, Marshall Hall, was completed in 1916. 2016 NCAA Division III Football Season
The 2016 NCAA Division III football season, part of the college football season organized by the NCAA at the Division III level in the United States, began on September 5, 2016 and ended with the NCAA Division III Football Championship, also known as the Stagg Bowl, on December 16, 2016 at Salem Football Stadium in Salem, Virginia. James Walter Hopson (born October 13, 1968) is an American football coach and former player. In 2016Hopsonmade history as the only head coach in the history of the state of Mississippi to guide two different in-state universities to bowl games when he led the University of Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles to a victory in the New Orleans Bowl. Joshua King Eargle (born January 6, 1979) is an American football coach and former player. He is the Deputy Head Coach and Offensive Line Coach at Florida International University (FIU). Eargle served as the head football coach at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) from 2013 to 2015, winning the 2015 ASC Championship and named ASC Coach of the Year. Hardin–Simmons University (HSU) is a private Baptist university in Abilene, Texas. It is affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas (Southern Baptist Convention).
