Scotty Lago
Scotty Lago (born November 12, 1987) is an American snowboarder. He is the 2004 world quarterpipe champion and winner of a bronze medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Career Lago has been riding since 1996. He is sponsored by Hudsen Collective, ION cameras, Mountain Dew, Smith Optics and Friends.http://www.snowboardprofiles.com/pro.php?id=13 He began snowboarding at a local tubing hill in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Lago was a member of the 2010 U.S. Olympic Snowboarding team along with Shaun White, Greg Bretz, and Louie Vito. On February 17, 2010, Lago won the bronze medal with a score of 42.8 out of 50.0. On February 19, 2010, controversial photos surfaced of Lago with his bronze medal and Team USA gear. Due to these photos, he returned home before the end of the games. Seabrook is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 8,401 at the 2020 census. Shaun Roger White (born September 3, 1986) is an American former professional snowboarder and skateboarder. He is a five-time Olympian and a three-time Olympic gold medalist in half-pipe snowboarding. He holds the world record for the most X Games gold medals and most Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder. He has also won 10 ESPY Awards throughout his career in various categories. Early life White was born in San Diego, California, to parents Cathy and Roger. Air & Style
The Air & Style is a European snowboard contest first held in Innsbruck, Austria in 1994 and now held annually. History Charly Weger and his snowboard photographer friend Andrew Hourmont first started the Air & Style Contest in Innsbruck. They only expected some hundred spectators but more than a few thousand showed up to see a single Straight Jump from each rider. From there on, it developed into one of the most influential snowboard challenges today. Until 1999, the sponsorship exploded and over 45,000 visitors witnessed the last Air & Style in Innsbruck, when six people died after the show when everybody tried to leave at once and the exits could not funnel the masses. The contest had to move and the Bergisel stadium was renovated. Keir Dillon (born June 1, 1977) is a professional snowboarder specializing in Halfpipe. Career Dillon has been a competitive snowboarder since 1997; his current home mountain is Ponto Beach, California but originally he grew up riding the east coast of PA and NY. He has accumulated two bronze medals at the winter X Games, took back to back gold at the World Superpipe championships in 04/05, and has secured second and third place at the United States Open. Danny Davis (snowboarder)
Danny Davis (born June 22, 1988 in Highland, Michigan) is a professional snowboarder. He was voted 2006 Rookie of the Year in the Transworld Snowboarding Riders Poll Awards, 2006 Rookie of the Year for Snowboarder Magazine, and 2008 Snowboarder Magazine Top 10 Riders of the Year. In January 2010 Davis won a snowboard Grand Prix event but not a spot on the US Olympic Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Kevin Pearce (born November 1, 1987) is the co-founder of thLove Your BrainFoundation, a nonprofit organization that aims to improve the quality of life of people affected by traumatic brain injury. He also is an inspirational speaker, and an United States, American former professional snowboarding, snowboarder. He was born in Hanover, New Hampshire, and raised in Hartland, Vermont, before moving with his parents to Norwich, Vermont. Mason Aguirre
Mason Singer Aguirre (born November 10, 1987 in Duluth, Minnesota) is an American snowboarder. He competes in halfpipe, slopestyle and superpipe, but consistently places higher in halfpipe and superpipe competitions. He competed in the men's halfpipe event at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Career Aguirre spent his childhood growing up in Duluth where he followed his older brother, Tyler Aguirre, onto the slopes when Mason was six.
