Scotty Bahrke (born July 19, 1985) is an American freestyle skier specializing in aerial skiing. Aerial skiing or aerials is a freestyle skiing discipline where athletes ski down a slope to launch themselves off a kicker (a vertically inclined ramp) and perform multiple twists and flips before landing on an inclined landing hill. Dylan Ferguson (skier)
Dylan Ferguson (born August 10, 1988) is an American freestyle skier who has competed since 2004. His best World Cup finish was second in an aerials event at Deer Valley, Utah in January 2012. Ferguson's best finish at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships was seventh in the aerials event at Inawashiro in 2009. He was named to the US team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in January 2010. However, he began experiencing stomach pains in early February while training at Park City, Utah before the games. Two days later he was rushed to a Park City hospital for an emergency appendectomy, and later developed an infection, a complication from the surgery. Shannon Bahrke
Shannon Bahrke (born November 7, 1980) is an American Olympic freestyle skier and entrepreneur. Bahrke was the silver medalist in Moguls at the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City and went on to become the 2003 World Cup Champion. She also won the bronze medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. With her bronze medal in 2010, she became the first US women freestyle skier to win multiple Olympic medals. Bahrke was also the 2009 US National Champion in dual moguls. She has reached the podium twice at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships, winning bronze in 2003 and silver in 2007, both in dual moguls.
