Kevin O'Brien (cricketer)
Kevin Joseph O'Brien (born 4 March 1984) is an Irish former international cricketer who plays for Leinster and Railway Union Cricket Club. On 16 August 2022, he announced his retirement from international cricket. He scored the fastest century ever in 50-over World Cup, coming from 50 balls against England on 2 March 2011. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Ireland's first ever Test match, against Pakistan, in May 2018, scoring the first Test century for Ireland men's cricket and becoming the first sportsperson from Ireland to represent his country 300 times. Max Sorensen
Max Christian Sorensen (born 18 November 1985) is an Irish former international cricketer of South African origin, who played for the Irish national team. Born in Johannesburg, Sorensen is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He has played for The Hills Cricket Club in Dublin since 2007. In July 2017, he announced his retirement from international cricket. International career Sorensen was called up to Ireland's squad for their tour to Kenya in February 2012, and for their subsequent participation in the 2012 World Twenty20 Qualifier. During the Kenyan leg of the tour, Sorensen made his first-class debut against Kenya in the Intercontinental Cup. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Occurrence At least one batter is not out at the end of every innings, because once ten batters are out, the eleventh has no partner to bat on with so the innings ends. Safyaan Mohammed Sharif (born 24 May 1991) is a Scottish cricketer. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a right-handed batsman. He made his international debut for Scotland in June 2011. Richie Berrington
Richard Douglas Berrington (born 3 April 1987) is a Scottish cricketer. He played for Scotland in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka, and has since played first-class, One Day International, and List A cricket for Scotland. In June 2022, Berrington was named as the captain of the national team, after Kyle Coetzer stepped down from leading the side. Early life and youth career Berrington was born in Pretoria, South Africa, but he emigrated to Scotland as a child. Berrington played cricket for Scotland at a national level as a teenager, representing the country at every level from under-13s up to under-19s. Michael Alexander Leask (born 29 October 1990) is a Scottish cricketer. He played for Scotland in the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament. On 9 May 2014 at Aberdeen, he scored 42 off 16 balls in an ODI against England and was named as the man of the match, despite Scotland losing the game. Ahead of the 2016 season, Leask signed for Somerset. In September 2017, after two seasons with Somerset, it was announced that Leask was to leave the county at the end of the season. Matthew Henry Cross (born 15 October 1992) is a Scottish cricketer who plays for Scotland and is a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman. Cross made his One Day International debut for Scotland against Canada on 23 January 2014. Career Matthew Cross served as the Scotland U19 vice-captain during the 2011 U19 World Cup. Matthew William Machan (born 15 February 1991) is an English-born former cricketer who played for Sussex and Scotland. Machan was a left-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born in Brighton, Sussex and educated at Hurstpierpoint College and Brighton College. Machan currently plays for Brighton and Hove CC in the Sussex Premier League. Joshua Henry Davey (born 3 August 1990) is a Scottish cricketer, who plays for Somerset County Cricket Club having previously played for Middlesex as well as representing his country in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals. Iain Wardlaw (born 29 June 1985, Dewsbury, Yorkshire, England) is a retired English-born first-class cricketer who played international cricket for Scotland. A right-arm medium pacer and right-handed batsman, Wardlaw was contracted to Yorkshire County Cricket Club to the end of the 2012 season, and for whom he played four Twenty20 games, and one County Championship match in 2011. Wardlaw joined Yorkshire in 2011, having played for Cleckheaton C.C. in the Bradford League.
