Sadhan Pande (13 November 1950 – 20 February 2022) was an Indian politician who served as Minister for Consumer Affairs & Self Help Group & Self-Employment, Government of West Bengal. Bikash Sinha (born 1945) is an Indian physicist, active in the fields of nuclear physics and high energy physics. Bikash Sinha was the director of the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics and Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre and the chairman of the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur in June 2005. He retired from service as the director of Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre and the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics in June 2009. Ajit Kumar Panja
Ajit Kumar Panja (13 September 1936 – 14 November 2008) was a Union minister of state in the Government of India. He was a member of Indian National Congress party but left it to join Trinamool Congress. He was born in Calcutta, and studied law at the Scottish Church College, Calcutta and at the Lincoln's Inn. The Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters, is an organisation dedicated to the promotion of literature in the languages of India. Founded on 12 March 1954, it is supported by, though independent of, the Indian government. Its office is located in Rabindra Bhavan near Mandi House in Delhi. Moti Nandi
Moti Nandi; 10 July 1931 – 3 January 2010) was a Bengali writer and journalist. Career Moti Nandi was from Kolkata. He graduated from the University of Calcutta and became a sports journalist and worked as a sports editor in ''Anandabazar Patrika''. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award (2008) at a ceremony to mark the grand finale of the maiden edition of the Excellence in Journalism Awards. Badal Sarkar
Sudhindra Sircar (Born 15 July 1925), also known as Badal Sarkar, was an influential Indian dramatist and theatre director, most known for his anti-establishment plays during the Naxalite movement in the 1970s and taking theatre out of the proscenium and into public arena, when he transformed his own theatre company, ''Shatabdi'' (established in 1967 for proscenium theatre ) as a third theatre group . He wrote more than fifty plays of which '' Ebong Indrajit'', ''Basi Khabar'', and ''Saari Raat'' are well known literary pieces.
