Scott Wright (actor)
Scott Wright is an English actor, singer and musician. He was nominated for a National Television Award in 2001 for Most Popular Newcomer for his role as Sam Kingston in ''Coronation Street''. Career Wright had a three-year stay in ITV's ''Coronation Street'', playing Sam Kingston. Wright's other acting credits on television include ITV's ''Crossroads'' and BBC One's ''Casualty''. Added to this he played the title role in ''Tristan'' in the Merlin International films production. Wright has also appeared in ITV's ''Emmerdale'' and Channel 4's '' Shameless'' and ITV1’s Midwinter of the Spirit, playing Anna Maxwell Martins’ husband Sean Watkins. It also starred David Threlfall. In 2016 Wright played Jordan Dawkins in a national tour of The Shawshank Redemption for Bill Kenwright. Scott Wright (footballer)
Scott Wright (born 8 August 1997) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Scottish Premiership club Rangers. Wright began his career at Aberdeen, where he made his competitive debut at the age of 16 in July 2014. He made 80 appearances over seven seasons for Aberdeen, and had a loan spell at Dundee in 2019. Wright was signed by Rangers in February 2021. Wright made 29 appearances for Scotland at youth international level. He played for the under-17, under-19, under-20 and under-21 teams. Club career Aberdeen Wright was raised in the village of Balmedie in Aberdeenshire, where he was a neighbour of fellow footballer Cammy Smith, and attended Bridge of Don Academy. A product of Aberdeen's youth system, he made his first-team debut for the club aged 16 in a UEFA Europa League qualifying match against Daugava Riga in July 2014. Scott Olin Wright (January 15, 1923 – July 11, 2016) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Education and career Wright was born in Haigler, Nebraska. During World War II, he was a cadet in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1943, and then a United States Marine Corps Captain and Aviator from 1943 to 1946. Following the war, Wright received a Bachelor of Laws from University of Missouri School of Law in Columbia, Missouri in 1950. He was in private practice in Columbia from 1950 to 1954, and was a city attorney for Columbia from 1951 to 1953. From 1954 to 1958, he was a prosecutor for Boone County, Missouri, then returned to private practice in Columbia until 1979.
