Scotty Robertson
Robert Scott "Scotty" Robertson III (February 1, 1930 – August 18, 2011) was an American basketball coach. He was the first coach for the New Orleans Jazz (now the Utah Jazz), and he later coached the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons. He also has a stint as assistant coach for the Indiana Pacers, San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns, and the Miami Heat. Career Robertson was born in Fort Smith in western Arkansas. As a sixth grader, he moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, where he played basketball and baseball for C. E. Byrd High School, from which he graduated in 1947. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, Texas, but graduated in 1951 from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. He obtained a master's degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. After his graduation from Louisiana Tech, he played baseball in the Chicago White Sox organization before returning to basketball as a coach. Scott Robertson (born 7 April 1985) is a Scottish football player and coach, who currently serves as a coach at Dundee. Robertson is a midfielder, who previously played for Dundee, Peterhead, Dundee United, Blackpool, Hibernian, Romanian club Botosani, Raith Rovers, Brechin City and Forfar Athletic, and was also formerly the assistant manager of Forfar. He also represented Scotland twice in full international matches. Playing career Dundee Robertson began his career with Dundee, but made his senior debut while on loan at Peterhead, spending the second part of the 2003–04 season at Balmoor. At the start of the following season, he returned to Peterhead on loan, resulting in him spending all of 2004 with the Scottish Third Division side. Scott Robertson (born 26 November 1987 in Irvine) is a Scottish football defender who plays for Stranraer. Robertson came on as a substitute during the second half of the 2008 Scottish Cup Final for Queen of the South. before moving to Stirling Albion for the 2009–10 season. In June 2011, he left Forthbank after being offered a full-time contract by Fram Reykjavik after impressing the club on a week's trial. On 29 July 2011, he signed for Partick Thistle until the end of the 2011–12 season, after the proposed move to Reykjavik fell through, as a result of a change in the terms of the contract.
