Scott Reid (ice Hockey)
Scott Reid (born November 25, 1976) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender and husband of two-time gold medal Olympic ice hockey defender Meaghan Mikkelson. Reid is a two-time Central Hockey League (CHL) All-Star. During the 2003–04 season he collected 6 shutouts and 32 wins, and led the CHL with 1523 saves a .938 save percentage. Milwaukee Admirals
The Milwaukee Admirals are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). They play in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee Panther Arena. They are affiliated with the NHL's Nashville Predators. The team has been playing since 1970, originally as an amateur team called the Milwaukee Wings, but were renamed as the Admirals after their first season. They played an independent schedule until joining the semiprofessional United States Hockey League (USHL) in 1973. The Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), sometimes referred to as the British Elite League or, for sponsorship reasons, the Viaplay Elite League, is an ice hockey league in the United Kingdom. Formed in 2003 following the demise of the Ice Hockey Superleague, it is the highest level of ice hockey competition in the United Kingdom. Scott Brower (September 26, 1964 – October 21, 1998) was an American professional ice hockey goaltender. Early career Brower was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 12th round (243rd overall) in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. As a member of the North Dakota Fighting Sioux, he was a backup to future NHL All-Star Ed Belfour. Professional career Brower was drafted with the 243rd overall pick by the New York Rangers in the 12th round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. Although Brower never played in the NHL, he played eight professional seasons in North America and Finland before finishing his career in Germany in 1996. Save percentage (often known by such symbols as SV%, SVS%, SVP, PCT) is a statistic in various goal-scoring sports that track saves as a statistic. In ice hockey and lacrosse, it is a statistic that represents the percentage of shots on goal a goaltender stops. It is calculated by dividing the number of saves by the total number of shots on goal. Although the statistic is called a "percentage", it is often given as a decimal, in the same way as a batting average in baseball. Thus, .933 means a goaltender saved 93.3 percent of all shots they faced. In international ice hockey, a save percentage is expressed as a true percentage, such as 90%. Meaghan Mikkelson
Meaghan Mikkelson (born January 4, 1985) is a Canadian ice hockey player and a member of the Canadian national ice hockey team, currently affiliated with the Calgary chapter of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). Mikkelson won gold medals during the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics and silver at the 2018 Winter Olympics. She was selected third overall in the 2011 CWHL Draft by Team Alberta CWHL, nicknamed the Alberta Honeybadgers and later renamed the Calgary Inferno.
