Scott Quessenberry
Scott Walker Quessenberry (born March 23, 1995) is an American football guard for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at UCLA. Professional career Los Angeles Chargers Quessenberry was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the fifth round (155th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Chargers. Houston Texans On March 23, 2022, Quessenberry signed with the Houston Texans. He was named the starting center in Week 2, and started the remainder of the season. On March 13, 2023, Quessenberry re-signed with the Texans. On August 3, it was announced that Quessenberry had suffered a torn ACL and MCL in practice and would miss the entire 2023 season. He was placed on injured reserve the next day. Guard (gridiron Football)
In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The medial collateral ligament (MCL), or tibial collateral ligament (TCL), is one of the four major ligaments of the knee. It is on the medial (inner) side of the knee joint in humans and other primates. Its primary function is to resist outward turning forces on the knee. Paul Quessenberry (born January 8, 1992) is an American football tight end who is a free agent. He played college football at Navy. Career Military After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in general science from the United States Naval Academy, Quessenberry served for five years as a rifle platoon and weapons platoon commander in the United States Marine Corps. He also served as deputy director of the 1st Marine Division school. New England Patriots Quessenberry signed with the New England Patriots on August 22, 2020, after serving five years in the Marine Corps.
