Scott Patterson (director)
Scott Patterson (born 21 January 1962) is an Australian film director and film editor. Before moving towards directing and film producing, Patterson used to work for the Australian television production company, Ross Wood Productions. Patterson's debut feature film, ''A Wreck, A Tangle'', received an Australian Film Institute Award nomination for 'Best Achievement in Sound' in 2000. It also won an AWGIE Awards, Awgie Award from the Australian Writers' Guild in the category 'Feature Film – Original'. His films have been screened at the Cannes Film Festival and Venice Film Festival, making him one of only a few Australian film directors to have films screened at both of these festivals. His short film ''Lessons in the Language of Love'' was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival. Crows Nest, New South Wales
Crows Nest is a suburb on the lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is also part of the North Sydney region, 5 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of North Sydney Council. History Crows Nest was originally part of a land grant made to Edward Wollstonecraft in 1821. The grant extended from the site of the present day Crows Nest to Wollstonecraft. Edward Wollstonecraft built a cottage, the 'Crow's Nest' and, according to his business partner Alexander Berry, chose the name "on account of its elevated and commanding position". Berry later built a more substantial Crow's Nest House on the estate in 1850, taking the name of the earlier cottage. This site is now the site of North Sydney Demonstration School. The gates of Crows Nest House (added in the 1880s) still stand at the Pacific Highway entrance to the school. Berry died at Crows Nest House on 30 November 1873. All Saints (TV Series)
''All Saints'' is an Australian medical drama television series that first screened on the Seven Network on 24 February 1998. Set in the fictional All Saints Western General Hospital, it focused on the staff of Ward 17 until its closure in 2004, which is when the focus changed and began following the staff of the Emergency Department. It was produced by John Holmes alongside Jo Porter, MaryAnne Carroll and Di Drew. The final episode aired on 27 October 2009, completing its record-breaking 12-year run.
