Scott Morgan (musician)
Scott Morgan is an American rock and roll and soul musician, most known for his work with the Sonic's Rendezvous Band, the Rationals, The Solution as well as his solo work. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States. Recording career The Rationals Morgan's first band was The Rationals. In the early years the band went through several lineup changes but in the end, the lineup consisted of Scott Morgan (guitars and vocals), Steve Correll (guitars), Terry Trabandt (bass guitar) and Bill Figg (drums). The band started out playing instrumental blues and surf-inspired music but in 1964 the band played a cover of Barrett Strong's "Money", which was noticed by manager Jeep Holland. The band soon started to record their music and started touring. In 1968 the MC5 opened for the band when the Five were recording their debut live LP. Loscil
Loscil is the electronic/ ambient music project of Scott Morgan from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Morgan launched the project in Vancouver in 1998 while a member of the multimedia collective Multiplex, which curated audiovisual events at an underground cinema called The Blinding Light. The name Loscil is taken from the "looping oscillator" function (loscil) in Csound. Morgan was also the drummer for the Vancouver indie band Destroyer. As Loscil, he has also produced numerous special projects, remixes, and collaborations with other musicians, including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Murcof/Vanessa Wagner, Sarah Neufeld, Daniel Bejar, bvdub, Rachel Grimes, and Kelly Wyse. Scott Morgan (born 17 October 1978) is a Welsh former international rugby union player who played as a lock or flanker. Morgan began his career at Neath before joining Llanelli, Bristol and Leeds. In 2006 he joined Cardiff Blues. During his time at Leeds he helped them win the 2004–05 Powergen Cup, the final of which he started. Scott Morgan (born 20 June 1989) is an elite level Canadian artistic gymnast who represented Canada in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, winning two gold medals, and represented Canada in the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro. Morgan is coached by Vali Stan and a member of the Flicka gymnastics club. Morgan is considered one of the best male gymnasts in Canada. Career Morgan began gymnastics when he was four years old at the Flicka gymnastics club. His parents were the first to get him involved. However, while at high school he quit gymnastics for four years. In 2007, he returned to the sport, saying: "Pretty much within the first week back I was like, 'man, why did I ever leave?'
