Scott Maine
Scott Maine (born February 2, 1985) is an American professional baseball relief pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball with the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians from 2010 to 2012. Early years Maine was born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where he attended William T. Dwyer High School. He then attended the University of Miami and played college baseball for the Miami Hurricanes. In 2006, he played for the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod League and was named a league all-star. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. Structure The six teams of the AFL are organized in two three-team divisions. The Scottsdale Scorpions are a baseball team that plays in the East Division of the Arizona Fall League. Aaron Heilman
Aaron Michael Heilman (born November 12, 1978) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Heilman was drafted by the New York Mets out of Notre Dame in 2001. He came up through the Mets system as a starting pitcher, but was converted to a relief pitcher in 2005. High school years Heilman was born in Logansport, Indiana and attended Logansport High School, where he was a letterman in baseball. As a senior, he was a team M.V.P. and an All-State selection. The Reno Aces are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
