Scott Kelly (astronaut)
Scott Joseph Kelly (born February 21, 1964) is an American engineer, retired astronaut, and naval aviator. A veteran of four space flights, Kelly commanded the International Space Station (ISS) on Expeditions 26, 45, and 46. Kelly's first spaceflight was as pilot of during STS-103 in December 1999. This was the third servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope, and lasted for just under eight days. Kelly's second spaceflight was as mission commander of STS-118, a 12-day Space Shuttle mission to the ISS in August 2007. Kelly's third spaceflight was as a crewmember on Expedition 25/26 on the ISS. He arrived at the ISS aboard Soyuz TMA-01M on October 9, 2010, and served as a flight engineer until he took over command of the station on November 25, 2010, at the start of Expedition 26. Scott Kelly (musician)
Scott Michael Kelly (born July 16, 1967) is a retired American musician. He is one of three founding members of California experimental metal band Neurosis, in which he was the band's lead vocalist and guitarist from its formation until his firing in 2019. He wrote and published music with Neurosis, Tribes of Neurot, Blood and Time and his solo acoustic project. He was also involved in a project named Shrinebuilder involving Al Cisneros, Scott Weinrich, and Dale Crover, whose first and only album was released in October 2009. He has also guested on six studio albums by the band Mastodon. In addition to his musical projects, Scott, along with his bandmates in Neurosis, is co-owner of Neurot Recordings. Beginning in April 2011, he began hosting a monthly three hour streaming radio show on Scion A/V.com channel 5 called KMBT. He had previously owned and operated an Internet radio station of his own called combatmusicradio.com that featured weekly shows from him as well as others ... Sherrod Scott Kelly (September 20, 1927 – April 3, 2005) was an American politician. A Democrat, he served in the Florida Senate from 1957 to 1963, representing the seventh district. Born in Madison, Florida, on September 20, 1927, Kelly was raised in Gadsden County and graduated from what became Gadsden County High School. Kelly played for the Florida Gators football team, before leaving the University of Florida to join the military. Kelly moved from Quincy to Lakeland in 1949, and four years later, was elected to the city commission. Kelly won two terms as mayor of Lakeland before unseating Republican state senator Harry King in 1956. Kelly left the state senate in 1963, and began campaigning for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination, which he lost to Haydon Burns. In 1966, Kelly contested the nomination again, and finished third.
