Scott Cooksey
Scott Andrew Cooksey (born 24 June 1972 in Birmingham) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. During his career he played for several professional and semi-professional clubs, including Derby County, Shrewsbury Town, Peterborough United, Hednesford Town, and Hereford United. His career ended prematurely during the 2001–02 season after a wrist injury. Early career Cooksey started his professional career at Derby County in 1988 where he spent two season, followed by a half season at Shrewsbury Town. He was unable to break into the first squad at either club. Cooksey then joined Bromsgrove Rovers and started to attract the attention of the professional rank officials with stints at West Ham and Sheffield United. Cooksey eventually moved to Peterborough United in 1993, however he was restricted from studying under Fred Barber and started 20 first-team games. Ian Stuart Dunbavin (born 27 May 1980) is an English professional football coach and former player who played as a goalkeeper. He spent the majority of his career at then EFL League Two side Accrington Stanley, where he amassed 151 league appearances over an 8-year-period. Dunbavin joined the Liverpool academy as a goalkeeping coach for the academy’s under-16 teams on a part-time basis in 2014, before becoming a full-time addition to the club’s academy in October 2016. Kevin Ratcliffe
Kevin Ratcliffe (born 12 November 1960) is a Welsh former professional footballer who spent most of his career playing for Everton. Club career Ratcliffe was born in Mancot, near Queensferry in Flintshire, Wales. He joined Everton as an apprentice in 1977 and made his debut on 12 March 1980 at Old Trafford, Manchester after replacing John Gidman through injury, but was not a first team regular until 1982. He was initially used as a left back with mixed results, but his form improved dramatically when moved to centre back. Gay Meadow
Gay Meadow was the home ground of Shrewsbury Town football club in Shropshire, England. Just outside the town centre, on the banks of the River Severn, it opened in 1910. The ground closed at the end of the 2006-07 Football League season and the club moved to a new stadium, provisionally titled The New Meadow, on the outskirts of the town. Local legend says that over 22,000 were inside the stadium for the league match against Wrexham A.F.C on 21 August 1950, although the official figure is given as 16,000. The official record attendance is 18,917, on 26 April 1961 against local rivals Walsall. Because it had only one entrance/exit road, in the years following the Taylor Report the capacity of the ground was reduced from 16,000 to around 8,000. Ninian Park
Ninian Park was a football stadium in the Leckwith area of Cardiff, Wales, that was the home of Cardiff City F.C. for 99 years. Opened in 1910 with a single wooden stand, it underwent numerous renovations during its lifespan and hosted fixtures with over 60,000 spectators in attendance. At the time of its closure in 2009, it had a capacity of 21,508. Cardiff City had originally been playing home fixtures at Sophia Gardens but the lack of facilities at the ground had prevented them from joining the Southern Football League. To combat this, club founder Bartley Wilson secured a plot of land from Cardiff Corporation that had previously been used as a rubbish tip and construction of a new ground began in 1909.
