Glenni William Scofield (March 11, 1817 – August 30, 1891) was a United States representative from Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania State Representative, Pennsylvania State Senator, Register of the Treasury and a judge of the Court of Claims. Sandra Scofield is an American novelist, essayist, editor and author of writers’ guides. Biography Sandra Scofield was born to Edith Aileen Hambleton in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1943. Scofield taught in public schools and colleges, but stopped working in 1983 to write full-time. Her first novel was ''Gringa'', based on her observations and experiences in 1960s Mexico. Hiram Scofield (July 1, 1830 – December 30, 1906) was a lawyer and Union Army officer during the American Civil War. He entered the Army as a private in 1861 and was discharged as a colonel on January 5, 1866. In February 1866 he was nominated by President Andrew Johnson for appointment to the rank of brevet brigadier general of volunteers and the United States Senate confirmed the appointment in April 1866.
