''Schön!'' is an English-language fashion magazine, launched in June 2009, and currently based in London. It is a biannual publication and is available in print, as well as online, iPad and iPhone and for download on the magazine's website. The title in German means "beautiful." According to its website, its goal is "showcasing a dynamic and diverse array of ideas and talent" in art and fashion. In a recent survey conducted by the magazine, its readership is 45% male, 55% female, and the median age is 28 years. 56% earn more than £125,000 ($189,300 USD) a year. The magazine was distributed in 2012 with 115,000 copies into 43 countries, and has recently arrived in China and Brazil. Schön Palace
Schön Palace is a palace located in Sosnowiec in southern Poland. The building is located near the Warsaw–Vienna railway and surrounded by a neo-Romantic park (the Schön Park). Since 1985 it has housed the Museum in Sosnowiec. Wilhelm Palace is located nearby. It is one of the two palaces of the Schön family in Sosnowiec; the other being the New Schön Palace. Schön Properties is a Dubai-based real estate developer. The company generated a gross development value of over USD $ 2 billion. It was founded in 1971 in Singapore by the Schon family, which originated in Pakistan. The company has been involved in several development projects in Dubai, including the Schon Business Park project and Dubai Lagoons in Dubai Investment Park, which was started in 2005, but was hit hard by the financial crisis of 2007–2008 and those projects were put on hold. In 2015, the company successfully delivered 1.6 million square feet project called Schon Business Park, consisting of 72 retail outlets and 304 offices. Schön Scandal
The Schön scandal concerns German physicist Jan Hendrik Schön (born August 1970 in Verden an der Aller, Lower Saxony, Germany) who briefly rose to prominence after a series of apparent breakthroughs with semiconductors that were later discovered to be fraudulent. Before he was exposed, Schön had received the Otto-Klung-Weberbank Prize for Physics and the Braunschweig Prize in 2001, as well as the Outstanding Young Investigator Award of the Materials Research Society in 2002, all of which were later rescinded. The scandal provoked discussion in the scientific community about the degree of responsibility of coauthors and reviewers of scientific articles.
