Hans Josef Schumm ''(né'' Johann Josef Eugen Schumm; 2 April 1896 Stuttgart – 2 February 1990 Los Angeles) was a German-born-turned- American actor, notably, a prolific and critically acclaimed Hollywood screen character actor who appeared in some 95 films – including a co-starring villainous role in a 12-episode serial. He also appeared in 15 TV productions and several stage productions, including one on Broadway. Except for about ten cinema productions, Schumm's in cinema and television was filmed in the United States. On stage and in film, he is credited as Hans Josef Schumm or simply Hans Schumm; but in seven films, he is credited under the pseudonym André Pola — three in 1948, one in 1949, one in 1954, and one 1956. Howie Schumm
John "Howie" Schumm (March 11, 1940 – April 4, 2015) was a Canadian football player with the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Eskimos and the Calgary Stampeders. Schumm spent his 14-year CFL career as a linebacker and fullback for the Eskimos and Stampeders. On defense, he intercepted 12 passes, 2 for touchdowns, and recovered 5 fumbles. On offense, he was mostly a blocker, as his best rushing season was 1961 with only 86 yards. He was also a punt and kick returner, in particular returning 47 punts for 250 yards (5.3 average) in 1964 and 50 punts for 199 yards (4.0 average) in 1965. Schumm did not miss a single game in the first 8 years of his career, from 1959 to 1966. Trevor Schumm
Trevor Schumm (born c. 1967) is a Canadian-Australian curler and baseball coach and scout. At the international level, he is a curler; the team, skipped by Hugh Millikin represented Australia at the 1998 World Men's Curling Championships. Schumm grew up on a farm near Spruce Grove, Alberta. He played baseball, ice hockey and Canadian football in his youth, and was the quarterback of his high school's football team. He then played junior college baseball at Allan Hancock College, played in spring training for the California Angels, and both played and coached at Cornell University. The returned to Alberta to coach there, and then moved to Australia in 1995, taking a job with the Australian Capital Territory academy of sport, and worked as a youth baseball coach. In 2000, he coached the Australian team at the World Junior Baseball Championship.
