Carl Schuch
Carl Eduard Schuch (30 September 1846 – 13 September 1903) was an Austrian painter, born in Vienna, who spent most of his lifetime outside Austria, in Germany, Italy and France. He painted primarily still lifes and landscapes. From 1865 to 1867, he studied landscape painting under the academician Ludwig Halauska. Among his early works are studies of heads which he said he wished to paint "like still-lifes, tone by tone, without emotion". Ernst Edler von Schuch, born Ernst Gottfried Schuch (23 November 1846, Graz – 10 May 1914, Niederlößnitz/Radebeul Dresden) was an Austrian conductor who became famous through his working collaborations with Richard Strauss at the Dresden Court Opera. Schuch first studied law but then turned to music, trained at first by E. Stolz. He studied in Graz and later in Vienna, briefly with Felix Otto Dessoff, and started his conducting career in 1867 as Kapellmeister at Lobe's Theatre in Breslau while the Breslau Opera was out of action following a fire. Clara Bohm-Schuch (5 December 1879 – 6 May 1936) (surname sometimes written simply Schuch and first name sometimes Klara) was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Social Democratic Party. Life and career Clara Bohn was born in Stechow-Ferchesar, Stechow, Havelland. After attending the village school in Stechow, she graduated from a commercial school in Berlin. She then worked as a typist and secretary, later as head secretary and finally, until her marriage to Willy Schuch, as a business correspondent, in 1906. Active as a writer in the AWO (Workers' Welfare Association), she wrote poems and essays and spoke at conferences and meetings. One of her special concerns was the fight against the high infant mortality in Germany; She called for the establishment of maternity counselling centers. Timuzsin Schuch (born 5 June 1985) is a former Hungarian handball player for the Hungarian national team. Johann Christian Schuch
Johann Christian Schuch (or Jan Chrystian Szuch; 1752 – 28 June 1813) was a Dresden-born garden designer and architect, active in Poland. Life Schuch learned gardening from his father, a House of Wettin court gardener. Later he studied painting and civil engineering at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, and to complete his education he traveled extensively, visiting gardens at Kew, the Grand Trianon and the Schönbrunn Palace. In 1775 Schuch came to Poland, where he worked for Princess Izabela Lubomirska and Count Michał Jerzy Mniszech. From 1781 he was superintendent of royal gardens at the Warsaw court of King Stanisław August Poniatowski, for whom he, together with Domenico Merlini and Jan Chrystian Kamsetzer, redesigned Łazienki Park. The King gave him a large estate bordering Łazienki Park, thus securing his prosperity.
