The School of International Development (formerly The School of Development Studies) is a department at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England. Situated within the Faculty of Social Sciences, the School of International Development has been ranked in the top three British development studies departments. Research centre of excellence The School of International Development (DEV) was founded in 1973 and along with the Overseas Development Group (ODG) has built a reputation as a centre of excellence for research, teaching and consultancy in international development, within the UK. The University of East Anglia (UEA) is a public research university in Norwich, England. Established in 1963 on a campus west of the city centre, the university has four faculties and 26 schools of study. Donald Kaberuka
Donald P. Kaberuka (born 5 October 1951) is a Rwandan economist and was the president of the African Development Bank from September 2005 until September 2015. Early life and education Kaberuka was born in Byumba, Rwanda. He studied at the University of Dar es Salaam as an undergraduate and obtained his MPhil in Development Studies from the University of East Anglia in 1979. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Glasgow. Career Kaberuka worked in banking and international trade for over a decade. Hala Hameed (born 6 November 1963) is a Maldives, Maldivian politician and diplomat who has been Secretary, Multilateral at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Maldives), Ministry of Foreign Affairs since August 2020. Mustafa Cüneyd Düzyol (born 1964) is a Turkish academic and civil servant who served as the Minister of Development in the interim election government led by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu between 22 September and 17 November 2015. Anthony John Colman (born 24 July 1943) is a British politician and businessman who served as the Labour Member of Parliament for Putney from 1997 to 2005. Early life and career Colman was born in Sheringham, Norfolk, on 24 July 1943 and educated at Paston Grammar School in North Walsham, Norfolk. Colman studied at Magdalene College, Cambridge, where he completed his Master's degree in Historical Tripos.
