Admiral Donovhan Schofield (born March 30, 1997) is a British-American professional basketball player for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers. Early life Schofield, the son of Anthony and Dawn Schofield, was born at St Mary's Hospital in London. His brother O'Brien Schofield is a linebacker who won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks. He has another brother General and a sister Octavia; one other brother, Joshua, drowned in Lake Michigan in 2007. Admiral Schofield attended Zion-Benton High School where he played center. Lieutenant-Colonel Harry Norton Schofield, VC (29 January 1865 – 10 October 1931) was an English British Army officer and recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. Military career Schofield was commissioned a lieutenant in the Royal Artillery on 15 February 1884, and promoted to captain on 1 February 1893. Following the outbreak of the Second Boer War he was posted to South Africa. Peter Hugh Gordon Schofield, CB (born 27 April 1969) is a senior British civil servant, serving as Permanent Secretary for the Department for Work and Pensions since January 2018. Born in 1969, Schofield was educated at the Whitgift School and then Gonville and Caius at Cambridge, and then joined the civil service into HM Treasury in 1991. Schofield spent two years on secondment to 3i in 2002–2004, then returned to the civil service in the Shareholder Executive. In 2008, Schofield was promoted and moved to be the director of the Enterprise and Growth Unit in the Treasury, whilst retaining ''ex officio'' membership of ShEx's board. Peter Schofield (Australian Rules Footballer)
Peter John Schofield (born 12 February 1932) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Richmond, Melbourne, and North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1950s. Mentone's Peter Schofield arrived on the VFL scene when he kicked four goals on debut for Richmond and finished the season with 21 goals from just six appearances. He did not, however, get many opportunities in the seniors over the next two years, nor did he at Melbourne when he crossed there in 1953. In 1954, Schofield crossed to Moorabbin in the Victorian Football Association (VFA). He was the VFA's leading goalkicker in 1954, when he kicked 96 goals for the year, including a tally of 22 goals in a match against Sandringham. Schofield played in this stint for Moorabbin for just over three seasons, and was cleared to North Melbourne after Round 2, 1957. Kenneth Douglas Schofield (born 3 February 1946) was the executive director of the European Tour from 1975 to 2004. Schofield was born and raised in Perthshire, Scotland. John McAllister Schofield (September 29, 1831 – March 4, 1906) was an American soldier who held major commands during the American Civil War. He was appointed U.S. Secretary of War (1868–1869) under President Andrew Johnson and later served as Commanding General of the United States Army (1888–1895). John Schofield (VC)
John Schofield VC (4 March 1892 – 9 April 1918) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. Before joining up, he attended Arnold School in Blackpool. Numerous memorials to his actions during the war can be found in the school's foyer and a plaque commemorating his VC can be found outside the school's memorial hall, inside of which the names of all the fallen old boys can be found. He was 26 years old, and a Temporary second lieutenant in the 2/5th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers, British Army during the First World War when the following deed took place for which he was awarded the VC.
