Aaron Jon Schock (born May 28, 1981) is an American former politician who was Republican Party (United States), Republican United States House of Representatives, U.S. Representative for from 2009 until 2015. The district is based in Peoria, Illinois, Peoria and includes part of Springfield, Illinois, Springfield. He was the first member of the U.S. Congress born in the 1980s; when he took his seat in 2009 he was the List of youngest members of the United States Congress, youngest member of Congress, at age 27. Previously, Schock had served two terms in the Illinois House of Representatives, also as its Baby of the House, youngest member. Schock resigned from Congress in March 2015 amid a scandal involving his use of public and campaign funds. Harriet Schock
Harriet Schock (born January 24, 1941) is an American singer, songwriter, teacher, author, and actress. She made three albums for a major label in the 1970s, scoring gold and platinum awards for her Grammy-nominated "Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady". She later moved into teaching and soundtrack work. In the 1990s, she resumed her recording career. Gina Schock
Regina Ann Schock (born August 31, 1957) is an American musician, best known as the drummer for the rock band The Go-Go's. Schock was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in October 2021 as a member of The Go-Go's. Career Schock's career began as drummer for Edie and the Eggs, a band assembled to feature the John Waters star Edith Massey. After her stint in Edie and the Eggs, Schock relocated to Los Angeles, California. Soon after, in 1979, she joined The Go-Go's, replacing Elissa Bello as the band's drummer. Schock recorded and toured steadily with The Go-Go's until the group disbanded in 1985 and reformed a few years later. She had open-heart surgery before the tour supporting the band's 1984 album ''Talk Show''. The Go-Go's announced their breakup in 1985, but played reunion gigs in 1990 and 1994. Ronald Lawrence Schock (born December 19, 1943) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played in the National Hockey League from 1964 to 1978. His younger brother, Danny Schock, also played briefly in the NHL. Schock retired following 909 games, recording a total of 166 goals, 351 assists, and 517 points. Playing career Schock scored his first NHL goal as a member of the Boston Bruins on February 29, 1964. It came in his team's 2-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings at Boston Garden. While playing with the St. Louis Blues, Schock attended a hockey dinner and was asked where he would least like to be traded. He responded, either the New York Rangers or Pittsburgh Penguins. Axel Schock (born 11 September 1965 in Neckarbischofsheim, Baden-Württemberg) is a German journalist and author. Schock grew up in Sinsheim. He studied literature and theater at the Free University of Berlin. In 1982 he published his first work and in 1985 received the '':de:Scheffelpreis, Scheffelpreis'', a prize in literature awarded to high school graduates. He lives openly gay in Berlin and works as a journalist and editor for different magazines and newspapers, including the gay magazine ''Hinnerk'' in Hamburg and ''citymag Berlin''. As a freelance author, he writes articles for daily newspapers like Berliner Zeitung, Die Tageszeitung, taz and Berliner Morgenpost.
