Anton Schlüter München was a German tractor manufacturer in the region of Munich, Bavaria. Amongst farmers and tractor enthusiasts, this brand is usually known simplified, as Schlüter. History The company ''Anton Schlüter München'' was founded in 1898, by councillor of commerce (german: Kommerzienrat) Anton Schlüter. In the beginning, the primary objective of the company was the production of gasoline engines and multi-fuel engines. Twelve years after the foundation of the company, Anton Schlüter acquired his own foundry. It was located in Freising, a town near Munich. In 1910, new buildings were constructed by the architects Jakob Heilmann and Max Littmann. After one more year, Schlüter built a test area, the so-called ''Schlüterhof''. Erna Schlüter
Erna Schlüter (5 February 1904 – 1 December 1969) was a German operatic dramatic soprano and voice teacher. Beginning as a contralto at the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater in 1922, she moved to the Nationaltheater Mannheim in 1925 where her voice developed to dramatic soprano, to the Stadttheater Düsseldorf in 1930 where she appeared in 1933 in the world premiere of Winfried Zillig's ''Der Rossknecht'' and was awarded the title Kammersängerin. Her last station, from 1940, was the Hamburg State Opera. Schlüter received European recognition when she appeared as a guest at the Oper Frankfurt, as Brünnhilde in three parts of Wagner's '' Der Ring des Nibelungen''. She then sang the role at the Waldoper festival and the Liceu in Barcelona, among others. Poul Schlüter
Poul Holmskov Schlüter (; 3 April 1929 – 27 May 2021) was a Danish politician who served as Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982 to 1993. He was the first member of the Conservative People's Party to become Prime Minister, as well as the first conservative to hold the office since 1901. Schlüter was a member of the Folketing (Danish parliament) for the Conservative People's Party from 1964 to 1994. He was also Chairman of the Conservative People's Party from 1974 to 1977 and from 1981 to 1993. Johan Schlüter (born 18 June 1944) is a former Danish lawyer who worked with copyright. Schlüter was educated as a Candidate of Law at the University of Copenhagen in 1970. He was a partner in Berning Schlüter Hald (1990–1998), Schlüter & Hald (1998–1999) and Bech-Bruun Dragsted (1999–2002), until he established his own law firm in 2002, Johan Schlüter Law Firm, which closed in 2015, and was based at Højbro Square. In the 1970s, he became involved as a lawyer for the Danish gramophone record industry, ( IFPI Danmark) via Bent Fabricius Bjerre, and gradually gained a central position as an advisor to Danish rights holders to such an extent that he has been termed "the king of Danish copyright". Andreas Schlüter (1659 – c. June 1714) was a German baroque sculptor and architect, active in the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation, the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, and the Russian Tsardom. Biography Andreas Schlüter was born probably in Hamburg. His early life is obscure as at least three different persons of that name are documented. The records of St. Michaelis Church, Hamburg show that an Andreas Schlüter, son of sculptor Gerhart Schlüter, had been baptized there on 22 May 1664. Documents from Danzig/Gdańsk (Royal Prussia) reported that an Andreas Schlüter ''(senior)'' had worked 1640–1652 in Danzig's Jopengasse lane (today's ulica Piwna). Ann-Helena Schlüter (born in Nürnberg) is a Swedish-German pianist, organist, composer and poet. Life Schlüter began her piano lessons at the age of three with her mother, the Swedish piano teacher and organist Ann-Margret Schlüter, ''née'' Elmgren, who comes from Småland, Southern Sweden. From the age of seven, she continued her studies with her father, the German pianist Karl-Heinz Schlüter. Schlüter grew up in Würzburg. Anne Marie Vessel Schlüter (born 1 May 1949) is a Danish ballet dancer who joined the Royal Danish Ballet in 1965. After retiring from the stage in 1988, she headed the Royal Danish Theatre's ballet school until 2006, maintaining the traditional Danish style of August Bournonville. In 1989 she married Poul Schlüter who served as Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982 to 1993. Karl-Heinz Schlüter (5 March 1920 – 20 December 1995) was a German classical pianist. Life Born in Torgau, Schlüter studied from 1931-1937 in Hannover with Rudolf Krasselt and Clara Spitta, then at the Musikhochschule Berlin with Carl Adolf Martienssen until 1940. He passed his concert examination with distinction. In the Berlin press, he was regarded as a "thoroughly accomplished pianist of the greatest style" when playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 at age 20. Seven years later, after service as a soldier and held prisoner of war until 1947, he trained his skills in Walter Gieseking's master class and became a lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold. Auguste Schlüter (27 June 1849 – Autumn 1917) was a German Empire domestic servant and biographer. Her memoirs were titled ''A Lady's Maid in Downing Street''. Biography Auguste Schlüter was born in the Kingdom of Hanover, 27 June 1849. Her life changed when she was seventeen as she was in England where she was employed by the politician and Prime Minister William and Catherine Gladstone. Schlüter did not speak much English but she decided to keep a diary as she worked as a maid looking after two of her employer's daughters, Mary and Helen Gladstone. She published her memoirs as ''A Lady's Maid in Downing Street''. The book gives an interesting view of upper class life although critics observed that Schlüter was living at the centre of government but only small details of world events made it into her book. Carl Schlüter (1846–1884) was a 19th-century German sculptor. Life He was born in Pinneberg in north Germany on 24 October 1846. From 1865 to 1868 he studied at the Academy of Art in Dresden under John Schilling. He came to public note in 1871 winning a gold medal for sculpture at the Vienna World Fair. Schlüter (crater)
Schlüter is a lunar impact crater that is located near the western limb of the Moon's near side. It lies along the northwestern face of the Montes Cordillera mountain range that encircles the Mare Orientale. Nearly attached to the eastern rim is the damaged crater Hartwig. Schlüter has an irregular outer rim that is roughly circular, with small outward bulges to the north and southeast. The former section displays a slumped appearance along the inner wall. The southern rim contains a small double-crater that lies long the inner wall. The rim is otherwise not significantly eroded, and contains a system of terraces along the inner sides. The interior floor has a curved patch of low-albedo material along the northern inner wall, nearly matching the dark shade of the Lacus Autumni to the south of the Montes Cordillera range.
