David Schlosberg
David Schlosberg (born November 16, 1963) is an American political theorist who is currently Director of the Sydney Environment Institute and Professor of Environmental Politics at the University of Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences of Australia. Career Schlosberg earned his Bachelor of Arts in politics and psychology, graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz with honors in 1985. He then read for a Master of Science and doctorate in political science at the University of Oregon (UO), completing in 1996. In 1996, he started a job in political theory and environmental politics at the Department of Politics and International Affairs, Northern Arizona University (NAU). Carol Schlosberg (14 June 1957 – 29 March 1998) was an American painter who was born in Newton, Massachusetts, and had been an art instructor at Yale University where she earned her Master of Fine Arts in 1992. She was a resident of Vermont at the time of her death. During her brief career, she was known for abstract works that have been described as "textured, abstract, sometimes geometric, sometimes free-form." Her career was cut short when she was murdered during a vacation trip to Mexico in 1998. Career Schlosberg initially studied painting at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts, where her teachers included painter George Gabin. Lev Markovich Shlosberg (russian: Лев Ма́ркович Шло́сберг; born 30 July 1963, Pskov) is a Russian politician, human rights activist, journalist, chairman of the Pskov Oblast branch of Yabloko, and a member of its federal political committee. Biography Shlosberg is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. He joined Yabloko in 1994, becoming head of the Pskov branch of the party in 1996.
