Schillerstraße
''Schillerstraße'' (''Schiller Street'') was a German improvisational comedy show that aired weekly on Sat.1. It was recorded without a script and broadcast unedited to a large extent. The American broadcaster Fox has earned the licence for ''Schillerstraße'' and is to produce its own series. Idea and show structure The setting of the show is the living room of the main actor (until 2008 Cordula Stratmann, in 2009 Jürgen Vogel - all the actors keep their real names) who lives on the fictional street "Schillerstraße" in Cologne, Germany. The main character is regularly visited by friends and relatives. The participants only know the topic of the episode in advance. The whole plot has to be improvised comically. The cast receive directions from the ''Spielleiter'' (game master) on their headphones, and have to follow the cues, e.g. "Cordula: Tell the others you're pregnant!". Cordula Stratmann
Cordula Stratmann (born 10 November 1963) is a German comedian. Life After taking the ''Abitur'' school-leaving examination, Stratmann studied social work at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia, in Cologne. During her work at the family counselling section of the Pulheim youth welfare office she also trained as a family therapist. For the carnival season in 1992, she invented the character "''Annemie Hülchrath''". Stratmann had her first television appearances as the host of the comedy shows ''Manngold'' and ''Sonst gerne'' on tm3 and on ZDF. In 1998, she acted in '' Zimmer frei!'' as "Annemie Hülchrath". In 2001, her first stage programme ''Andererseits wiederum …'' followed. In the years 2002 to 2004, she had a show called ''Annemie Hülchrath – Der Talk'' on WDR, and in September 2004 she started an improvisation comedy show ''Schillerstraße''.

Annette Frier
Annette Frier (born 22 January 1974) is a German actress and comedian. Early life She has a younger sister, Caroline (born 1983) and an older sister. Georg Uecker
Georg Uecker (born 6 November 1962 in Munich) is a German actor. Since 1985, he has played the character of ''Dr. Carsten Flöter'' on the popular German TV series Lindenstraße on ARD. Controversially, in 1987, he kissed ''Gert Weinbauer'' (played by actor Günter Barton). This was the first gay kiss in a German series in the evening. A second kiss was in 1990 with character ''Robert Engel'' (actor Martin Armknecht) this brought about discussions on LGBT topics in the media. Uecker still continues to play the character. The Rose d'Or ('Golden Rose') is an international awards festival in entertainment broadcasting and programming. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) first acquired the Rose d’Or in 1961, when it was created by Swiss Television in the lakeside city of Montreux.
