Michael Scheuer
Michael F. Scheuer (pronounced "SHOY-er"), (born 1952) is an American former intelligence officer for the Central Intelligence Agency, blogger, author, commentator and former adjunct professor at Georgetown University's Center for Peace and Security Studies. One assignment during his 22-year career was serving as Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station (the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorism Center, known as "Alec Station") from 1996 to 1999. He also served as Special Advisor to the Chief of Alec Station from September 2001 to November 2004. Scheuer became a public figure after being outed as the anonymous author of the book ''Imperial Hubris'' (2004), in which he criticized many of the United States' assumptions about Islamist insurgencies and particularly Osama bin Laden. Benjamin Scheuer
Benjamin Scheuer is an American songwriter, guitar player, and singer, based in London and New York City. Career Stage Benjamin Scheuer (pronounced “SHOY-er”) wrote and performed ''The Lion'', a one-man autobiographical musical. ''The Lion'' premiered off-Broadway in 2014 at the Manhattan Theatre Club, directed by Sean Daniels. Later that year, Scheuer performed the show at London's St James Theatre, winning the Off West End Award for Best New Musical. In 2015, the show played again off-Broadway, winning Scheuer the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance. Andreas Scheuer
Andreas Franz Scheuer (born 26 September 1974) is a German politician of the Christian Social Union (CSU) party. From 2018 to 2021, he was Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure in the Cabinet Merkel IV. From 2013 to 2018, he was Secretary General of the CSU. From 2009 to 2013, he was Parliamentary Secretary of State in the former Federal Ministry for Transport, Building and Urban Development in the Cabinet Merkel II. He has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002. In 2016, he was also elected district chairman of CSU Lower Bavaria. Max Scheuer
Max Scheuer (9 September 1895 – post August 1941) was an Austrian international footballer who played the defender position. He played for the Austria national football team in the 1923 season. In the 1920s he played for and captained Hakoah Vienna. He was murdered in the Auschwitz concentration camp. Biography Scheuer was born in Austria, and was Jewish. Sandra Scheuer
Sandra Lee "Sandy" Scheuer (; August 11, 1949 – May 4, 1970) was a student at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, when she was killed by Ohio National Guardsmen in the Kent State shootings. Background Scheuer was born in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Sarah (Lacko) and Martin Scheuer. She had an older sister, Audrey. She was Jewish. She was an honors student in speech therapy, and was a graduate of Boardman High School. She did not take part in the Vietnam War protests that preceded the shootings. She was shot in the neck with an M-1 rifle from a distance of 130 yards (119 m) while walking between classes. The bullet severed her jugular vein and she died within five or six minutes from loss of blood. Sven Scheuer (born 19 January 1971) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Scheuer was born in Böblingen. He joined FC Bayern Munich in 1988, and spent 11 years with the club, serving as backup goalkeeper to Raimond Aumann until 1994 and later Oliver Kahn. He usually shared this role with another 'keeper, including Uwe Gospodarek (1991–1994), Michael Probst (1994–1996) and Bernd Dreher (1996–1999). He made 20 appearances in the Bundesliga, half of which came in the 1994–95 season, and won five league titles, plus the UEFA Cup in 1996 and the DFB Pokal in 1998. Jacob Moses David Tebele Scheuer (1712–1782) was a German rabbi. Biography Born in Frankfurt am Main in 1712, he was one of the outstanding students of Rabbi , author of ''Shav Ya'akov'', in Frankfurt. He served as '' Dayan'' of Frankfurt during the entire time that the ''Pnei Yehoshua'', Rabbi Yehoshua Falk was Rabbi of Frankfurt (1741-1756). In 1759 he succeeded his father-in-law Rabbi Nathan Otiz as Rabbi of Bamberg. There during the Third Silesian War; part of the Seven Years' War (1756-1763), where Austria under the Empress Maria Theresa of Austria tried for the second time in vain to get back Silesia from Prussia; the Prussians under King Frederick the Great ravaged and plundered the region. In 1763 during the turmoil, Rabbi Tebele lost many of his writings including his writings on the tractate Niddah, which he greatly bemoaned. Tine Scheuer-Larsen (born 13 March 1966) is a retired tennis player from Denmark. She became Danish Champion in singles in 1981 age 15 as the youngest Danish player ever. Abraham Naftali Hertz Scheuer was a German Orthodox rabbi and kabbalist, born in Frankfurt am Main in 1753 to Rabbi David Tebele Scheuer and his second wife (daughter of Rabbi Nathan Otiz, rabbi of Bamberg).
