Schaller GmbH is a German manufacturer of musical instrument hardware based in Postbauer-Heng near Nuremberg, Bavaria. It designs, produces and sells guitar tuners, bridges, tremolos, strap locks and, other accessories primarily for guitars. Schaller was founded in Feucht near Nuremberg in 1945 by Helmut Schaller as a radio repair shop. Since then, Schaller has developed into one of the foremost regarded suppliers for the music instrument industry. Dr. Lars Bünning has been the company's owner since 2009. Bubenreuth is a municipality in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt, in Bavaria, Germany. Location Bubenreuth is located near the river Regnitz and ca. 4 kilometers north of Erlangen with which it's structurally connected. Neighboring towns are (from North clockwise) Baiersdorf, Langensendelbach, Marloffstein, Erlangen and Möhrendorf. History Nothing is known about the founding of Bubenreuth. The Gibson Les Paul is a solid body electric guitar that was first sold by the Gibson Guitar Corporation in 1952. The guitar was designed by factory manager John Huis and his team with input from and endorsement by guitarist Les Paul. Its typical design features a solid mahogany body with a carved maple top and a single cutaway, a mahogany set-in neck with a rosewood fretboard, two pickups with independent volume and tone controls, and a stoptail bridge, although variants exist.
