Albert Schaller
Albert Schaller (May 20, 1857 – March 31, 1934) was an American jurist, politician, and businessman. Born in Long Grove, Illinois, The Schaller family moved to Hastings Minnesota on July 4 of that year. Schaller attended secondary school in France. Schaller received his bachelor's degree from St. Vincent's Seminary (Missouri), St. Vincent's College in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and his law degree from Washington University School of Law in 1879. Schaller practiced law in Hastings, Minnesota and was the Hastings City Attorney and the city attorney for South St. Paul, Minnesota. He married Katherine Elizabeth (Kate) Meloy of Hastings and they had five children; four lived to adulthood – Rosemarie, Karl, Marion, and Josephine. He was also county attorney for Dakota County, Minnesota. Schaller served in the Minnesota State Senate from 1895 to 1915 and was a Democratic Party (United States), Democrat. Simone Schaller
Simone Estelle Schaller Kirin (August 22, 1912 – October 20, 2016) was an American hurdler who competed in the 80 m event at two Olympic Games. She placed fourth in 1932, and was eliminated in the semi-finals in 1936. Originally from Connecticut, she moved to California at the age of seven because of her father's asthma. Although she was athletically active during her school days, she had only taken up hurdling three months prior to her 1932 appearance and both of her Olympic placings were disputed at the time. After the Olympics she married a minor league baseball player and auto mechanic, Joseph Kirin, and worked as a food manager at a Temple City, California high school. René Schaller
René Schaller (1915 – after 1938) was a Swiss footballer who played in the 1930s. He played as a forward. Schaller played for La Chaux-de-Fonds from 1933 to 1937 and was a successful goal scorer. He played his league debut in the La Chaux-de-Fonds team in the 1933–34 Nationalliga season. In the 1935–36 Nationalliga season he played in all 26 league games scoring 16 of the team's 47 goals, saving his team from relegation as they ended the season in 12th position just one point above the relegation slot. Again in the following season he scored 12 goals in 22 outings. But because La Chaux-de-Fonds and FC Basel both had 20 points, they had to have a play-off against relegation. This ended in a draw and so a replay was required. The replay was played in the Stadion Neufeld in Bern on 20 June 1937 and ended in a 1–0 victory for Basel and La Chaux-de-Fonds were relegated. Rainer Schaller
Rainer Schaller (4 January 1969 – 21 October 2022) was a German entrepreneur. He was the Founder CEO of the RSG Group, which includes the McFit, John Reed and Gold's Gym fitness studios. He hit headlines as a result of the disaster at the 2010 Love Parade in Duisburg, which he organized. On 21 October 2022, Schaller and his son Aaron died in a private plane crash in Costa Rica. Mark Schaller is a psychological scientist who has made many contributions to the study of human psychology, particularly in areas of social cognition, stereotyping, evolutionary psychology, and cultural psychology. He is a professor of psychology at the University of British Columbia. Schaller was born on November 27, 1962, in Palo Alto, California. His father is the zoologist and animal conservationist George Schaller. During his childhood he lived in India, Pakistan, and Tanzania, as well as in the United States.
