Gary Schaer
Gary Steven Schaer (born September 11, 1951) is an American Democratic Party politician who serves in the New Jersey General Assembly where he represents the 36th Legislative District. He took office on January 10, 2006, and remains on the Passaic, New Jersey City Council where he is the council president. Schaer is the first Orthodox Jew in the New Jersey Legislature. Currently serving as a deputy speaker, and as Chairman of the Budget Committee from 2014 to 2017, Schaer is one of the highest-ranking members of the Assembly. Biography Schaer grew up in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. He attended American University, majoring in political science. Miriam Schaer (born 1956) is an American artist who creates artists' books, and installations, prints, collage, photography, and video in relation to artists' books. She also is a teacher of the subject. Career Miriam Schaer was born in Buffalo, New York. Fabian Lukas Schär (; born 20 December 1991) is a Swiss professional footballer who currently plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Newcastle United and the Switzerland national team. Beginning his career at his hometown club of Wil, Schär transferred to Basel in 2012, winning the Swiss Super League in all three of his seasons before his move to Hoffenheim. Manuela Schär (born 5 December 1984) is a Paralympian athlete from Switzerland competing mainly in category T54 sprint events. She has used a wheelchair since the age of 8, when a playground accident paralysed her from the waist down. Career Schär competed in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, Greece. There she won a silver medal in the women's 200 metres – T54 event, bronze in the women's 100 metres – T54 event and finished sixth in the women's 400 metres – T54 event. At the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China, she won bronze in the women's 200 metres – T54 event, finishing fourth in the 100 metres and sixth again in the women's 400 metres. Dwight Schar is an American businessman. He is the founder of NVR, Inc., a Fortune 500 company that is the third-largest home builder (by revenue) in the United States. He currently serves as the company's Executive chairman and Chairman of Executive Committee. Schar was also a minority owner of the Washington Commanders of the National Football League from 2003 to 2021, as well as the former financial chairman for the Republican National Committee. Early life and education Andrew was born on 14 December 1981, in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal, at Grey's Hospital, and was raised in Dundee, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
