Scarlet Rebels
Scarlet Rebels are a five-piece Welsh melodic rock band residing in Llanelli, South Wales. On February 4, 2022, they achieved their first Official UK Top 40 Album with their album ''See Through Blue'', released on Earache Records, debuting at #7. This made them the first band from Llanelli to ever achieve a UK Top 40 Album. Scarlet Rebels are also known for their efforts to raise money and collect donations for local food banks and charities such as The Trussell Trust in response to the key social and political issues of the time. History The band are currently signed to Earache Records and were formed in 2018. The band consist of Wayne Doyle (vocals/guitar), Chris Jones (lead guitar), Josh Townshend (guitar – and son of The Who's guitarist Simon Townshend and nephew of The Who's guitarist Pete Townshend), Wayne 'Pricey' Esmonde (bass) and Gary Doyle (drums). Hard Rock Hell is a three day music festival held at Vauxhall Holiday resort, Great Yarmouth. It was previously held at Hafan y Môr Holiday Park, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales, and up until 2011 at Pontin's Holiday Village, Prestatyn, Wales. Holding the festival in a holiday camp gives the organisers pre-built venues and stages and because of the on-site accommodation allows them to hold a multi day festival over winter/spring months when outdoor camping is not desirable. Steelhouse Festival is an independent rock festival held annually in late July at Aberbeeg in South Wales, U.K. History Located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, the event has been running since 2011 and is supported by the Welsh Government. The festival is held in a mountain location making it the highest-recorded official altitude for any music festival in the UK. Many acts have performed at the festival since its inception, particularly from the hard-rock, classic-rock and heavy-metal genres.
