Clark Scarff
Clark Steven Scarff (born 19 November 1948) is a former Australian cricketer who played four first-class matches for Western Australia. From Perth, Scarff made his first-class debut in a Sheffield Shield match against Victoria in February 1970, the last match of the 1969–70 season. Batting third behind Derek Chadwick and Terry Prindiville, he scored a half-century—67 runs—on debut, featuring in a 131-run partnership with Chadwick for the second wicket. Scarff's three other first-class matches came early in the following Sheffield Shield season. Elevated to the opening position with Chadwick, he failed to score heavily, and did not play at state level again. Robert Wilfred Scarff
Robert Wilfred Scarff CBE Royal College of Surgeons, FRCS FRSE (1899–1970) was a 20th-century British surgeon and pathologist. Life He was born in Dalmuir west of Glasgow on 18 October 1899 the son of Robert William Scarff, a sea captain, and his wife, Katherine Agnes Russell, from Orkney with four brothers who were doctors. The family moved to Ilford in London in 1906 when his father got a job in Tilbury Docks. He and his two brothers were educated in the Classics at the City of London School. He entered the Middlesex Hospital Medical SWchool in 1918 and gained a Diploma in 1924. He then entered the Bland-Sutton Institute of Pathology under the directorship of James McIntosh. Here he assisted S. L. Baker in the Department of Morbid Pathology and Histology. When Baker went to Manchester in 1931 Scarff replaced him as head of Department. Ward Randal Scarff (born 17 February 1957) is an Australian former cricketer. Scarff was born at Perth in February 1957. Having represented Western Australia at colt level, he later played club cricket in Scotland for Greenock. Strong performances for Greenock led to his selection for Scotland in the 1981 Benson & Hedges Cup, with Scarff making four appearances against Lancashire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire, and Warwickshire.
