Saúl H. Calandra (22 October 1904 – 14 May 1973) was an Argentine football (soccer) midfielder who competed in the 1928 Olympic games. He was a member of the Argentine team, which won the silver medal in the football tournament. He was also a runner up in the 1927 Copa Lipton. La Plata () is the capital city of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. According to the , it has a population of 654,324 and its metropolitan area, the Greater La Plata, has 787,294 inhabitants. It is located 9 kilometers (6 miles) inland from the southern shore of the Río de la Plata estuary.
