Sazaa (2011 Film)
''Sazaa'' () is a 2011 Maldivian romantic-drama film directed by Hussain Munawwar. Produced by Hussain Rasheed, the film stars Niuma Mohamed and Lufshan Shakeeb in the lead roles while Ismail Rasheed in the supporting role. The film was theatrically released on 29 March 2011. Premise Reema (Niuma Mohamed),a carefree and cheerful young woman, visits her island B. Maalhos for holidays, where she meets Zaid (Lufshan Shakeeb), a land surveyor from Male'. Initially, their encounter sparks mutual dislike, and they engage in playful teasing and pranks whenever their paths intersect. On one such incident, Zaid gets admitted at hospital and out of guilt and worry, Reema decides to confess her love to him. To her surprise, Zaid reciprocates her feelings, and they embark on a romantic journey together. Hussain Munawwar
Hussain Munawwar (born 5 February 1998), commonly known as Kuda Foolhu is a Maldivian film director, cinematographer, producer and actor. Career In 2006, Munawwar starred as the character Kudafoolhu, a manipulative devil under the strict instructions of his master, in the first installment of Yoosuf Shafeeu-directed short film series, '' Vasvaas'' which proved to be a breakthrough for him with his humorous and child-friendly act. He reprised the role in several of his other ventures including ''Kudafoolhuge Vasvaas'' (2006) and ''Kudafoolhaai Paree Dhahtha'' (2007). His performance in playing the character fetched him a Maldives Film Award for Best Actor in short films category. In 2011, Munawwar starred as gangster in the Moomin Fuad-directed crime tragedy drama ''Loodhifa''. Haveeru Daily (Dhivehi: ހަވީރ ދުވަހު ނޫސް) was the longest serving daily newspaper in the Maldives, established on January 1, 1979. History When local newspaper ''Moonlight'' ceased publication on December 9, 1978, Haveeru was registered on December 28, 1978, to fill the gap created by the absence of a newspaper. The first issue of Haveeru was brought out on January 1, 1979, under the proprietorship of Mohamed Zahir Hussain, who is a close friend of the President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom and has been serving Minister level positions of the government since 1978 The name The name ''Haveeru'' symbolises the onset of the cool evening time after the heat of the day, which is also the time when the newspaper is brought out.
