''Say You Love Me'' is the second studio album by American singer Jennifer Holliday released on vinyl and cassette. It was released by Geffen Records. In 1985, two singles were released from the album. The singles were "Hard Time for Lovers" and "No Frills Love". Michael Jackson co-wrote and produced the album's opener "You're The One." The album charted at #110 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and #34 at the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Jennifer Yvette Holliday (born October 19, 1960) is an American actress and singer. She started her career on Broadway in musicals such as ''Dreamgirls'' (1981–83), ''Your Arms Too Short to Box with God'' (1980–1981) and later became a successful recording artist. She is best known for her debut single, the ''Dreamgirls'' number and rhythm-and-blues/pop hit, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going", for which she won a Grammy in 1983. She also won a 1982 Tony Award for ''Dreamgirls''. Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington (April 29, 1899 – May 24, 1974) was an American jazz pianist, composer, and leader of his eponymous jazz orchestra from 1923 through the rest of his life. Michael Lynn Piccirillo (born 1951) is an American record producer, songwriter, and musician, who began working professionally in the Los Angeles music business in 1976. Gary Michael Goetzman (born November 6, 1952) is an American film and television producer and actor, and co-founder of the production company Playtone with actor Tom Hanks.
