Inouk
''No Danger'' is the only full-length studio album released by indie rock band Inouk in 2004. The band consisted of brothers Damon McMahon (vocals/guitar) of Amen Dunes and Alexander McMahon (vocals/guitars), as well as Ian Fenger (lead guitar), Jesse Johnson (bass) and Glen Brasile (drums). Critical reception Devon Powers of '' PopMatters'' said that the music was not easy listening: "the threads among and even within tracks weave an intricate tapestry of genres, influences, and subject matter. The risks they take give their songs a heroic tenor in a literal and figurative sense. Figurative because melodies are cast as brave charges over difficult terrain, and literal because thankfully, they defy categorization and, thankfully, it not only works but it also matters." '' NME''s Simon Hayes Budgen described the band as "sounding like an offspring of the Go-Betweens and Talking Heads" and that "professionalism doesn't always have to mean workmanlike". The Boggs
The Boggs was an independent rock band from New York City formed by Jason Friedman in 2001. Original band members Friedman, Ezekiel Healy, Bradford Conroy and Phil Roebuck met as subway buskers in New York and became a part of the then burgeoning "New New York" scene that included groups like The Rapture, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Calla, Interpol, and The Walkmen. Their debut album ''We Are The Boggs We Are'' (Arena Rock Recording Co.) was a punk re-telling of Harry Smith’s Anthology of American Folk Music that the band mockingly dubbed ‘Archival no-wave’. The Boggs also contributed a compilation track for '' This Is Next Year: A Brooklyn-Based Compilation'' in 2001 (Arena Rock Recording Co.). The follow-up, ''Stitches'', recast the band's sound as a type of acoustic post-punk. Some reviews compared the record to a more artsy Pogues or more country-blues based Echo & the Bunnymen. Their third album "Forts", once again recast the sound of the band. The band's official biograp ...

The Occasion
''The'' () is a grammatical article in English, denoting persons or things that are already or about to be mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners, readers, or speakers. It is the definite article in English. ''The'' is the most frequently used word in the English language; studies and analyses of texts have found it to account for seven percent of all printed English-language words. It is derived from gendered articles in Old English which combined in Middle English and now has a single form used with nouns of any gender. The word can be used with both singular and plural nouns, and with a noun that starts with any letter. This is different from many other languages, which have different forms of the definite article for different genders or numbers. Pronunciation In most dialects, "the" is pronounced as (with the voiced dental fricative followed by a schwa) when followed by a consonant sound, and as (homophone of the archaic ...
