is a Japanese former competitive figure skater. She is the 2005 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist and 2005 JGP Japan champion. , also known mononymously as Taiji, was a Japanese musician and songwriter. He is best known as the former bassist of the rock band X Japan. X Japan rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s, credited as founders of the Japanese visual kei movement. Kenzo Sawada, commonly known as Captain Sawada, is a character in the 1994 film ''Street Fighter''. Portrayed by Kenya Sawada, he came about due to Kenya originally being cast as Ryu through Capcom's wishes, but was recast by writer-director Steven E. de Souza as an original character called Captain Sawada, created to give him a role. He lost the role due to De Souza wanting an actor who had a better grasp of English. is a Japanese professional shogi player ranked 7- dan. Early life, amateur shogi and apprenticeship Shingo Sawada was born on November 21, 1991, in Suzuka, Mie. He finished in third place in the 26th (2001) and 27th (2002) as the representative of Mie Prefecture. Noriko Bridges Flynn ( Sawada; February 11, 1923 – February 7, 2003), known as "Nikki Bridges Flynn", was a Japanese American writer and civil rights activist. She also helped overturn the law in Nevada barring mixed-race marriages. Biography Noriko Sawada was born in Gardena, California to Japanese parents who leased land to grow their own crops.
