Ravikant Nagaich (5 July 1931 – 6 January 1991) was an Indian film personality. He is an Indian film personality born at Atrauli, Aligarh- Uttar Pradesh, India in a Brahmin family. He started his filming career as a cinematographer in Telugu films, N.T. Rama Rao's ''Sri Seetha Rama Kalyanam'' in 1961 being his first film. With ''Farz (1967 film), Farz'', he turned to Hindi movies and direction. This low-budget thriller inspired by ''James Bond'' was a surprise hit and helped Ravikant and the film's lead pair's (Jeetendra and Babita) career. Dharmendra acted as Agent 116 Gopal in ''Keemat (1973 film), Keemat'' (1973). Jeetendra reprised his role as Agent 116, Gopalkishan Pandey in ''Raksha (1982 film), Raksha'' (1982) and again in ''The Gold Medal (film), The Gold Medal''. He went on to direct 24 more films with ''Duty'' (1986) being his last. ''Saugandh'' () is a 1991 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed by Raj N. Sippy. It stars Akshay Kumar in his film debut (as a leading actor), alongside and Shantipriya (in her Hindi debut). Plot Sarang Singh is a proud, arrogant and powerful landlord, who refuses to let people garland him as he believes that a man should never bow his head. He adores his little sister Chand and she falls in love with Shiva. Shiva is from an agricultural background family and has a loving family—father, mother, sister, brother and most importantly, his sister-in-law Ganga, who adores him. Sarang learns of the romance and kills Shiva, Chand and everyone in Shiva's family. However, Ganga, who was pregnant at the time, had just fainted.
