Sau Reservoir
Sau Reservoir ( ca, Pantà de Sau) is a reservoir located on the Ter (river), Ter river, near Vilanova de Sau, Catalonia, Spain. The dam was completed in 1962, creating a reservoir with a storage capacity of 151.3 hm³ that covered the former town of Sant Romà de Sau. The Church of Sant Romà is still visible when the water level is low. The dam has a structural height of 83 m and a crest length of 260 m. Southern Arkansas University Tech
Southern Arkansas University Tech (SAU Tech) is a Public college, public community college in Calhoun County, Arkansas. History SAU Tech was created on April 5, 1967, as Southwest Technical Institute by Act 534 of the Arkansas Legislature. The purpose of the institute was to provide a technically trained workforce for the growing Highland Industrial Park where it was located. Seventy acres of land and six buildings at the Park were donated by the Brown Foundation of Houston, Texas which had purchased the former Shumaker Naval Ammunition Depot for redevelopment. Financing for renovation and equipping the facility was made possible by a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration. Sau (Rotuman King)
Sau, (often mistranslated as “King”), refers to the role of spiritual leader in pre-Christian Rotuman society. The title was neither primogenitary nor held for a lifetime, but rather was cycled through the chiefs of each of Rotuma's districts. Overview The position of sau was primarily tied into Rotuma's pre-Christian fertility cult and the worship of the supreme deity Tagroa Siria. This is reflected in the fact that each reign was generally for the six-month ritual cycle of the Rotuman calendar. At the beginning of each sau's reign, they would be installed by the fakpure or secular ruler, and would subsequently be deified for six months, in the polity's hope that the appeasement of the sau, as a proxy for the God on earth, would result in prosperity and peace on the island. Sau (band)
Sau was a music group from Catalonia, which rose to fame in the area in the 1990s, being among the first groups to write pop music with Catalan lyrics, known as ''rock català''. The band's two main members were Carles Sabater, singer, and Pep Sala, who played guitar and sometimes keyboard. Sabater's death following a concert in 1999 ended the band's existence. Pep Sala was the composer whilst lyrics were written together with Carles Sabater. ''No puc deixar de fumar'' (''I cannot quit smoking'') was their first album. Edited in 1988 by "Audiovisuals de Sarrià", the album contained the hits "Records d'Irlanda" ("Memories of Ireland") and the song "Deprimit" ("Depressed") which had an appearance on each subsequent album. Two years later, the album ''What a night'', recorded in London and Barcelona, confirmed the status of the group. St Austell Railway Station
St Austell station is a Grade II listed station which serves the town of St Austell, Cornwall, England. It is from via . The station is operated by Great Western Railway, as is every other station in Cornwall. The station is situated on the hillside just above the town. The main buildings were rebuilt in 2001 and face the town's bus station. The station is served by both local and long-distance trains, including the Night Riviera sleeper service.
